We ran Imogene in mid-Sept 2018 but started in Ouray and went to Telluride. I kept watching to see if we met on the trail but then realized we did in the morning..
Chris, your braver than I. The pucker factor is to much, there would be a permanent crease in my seat cover. Those shear drops scare the crap out of me, but thanks to you and You tube I can share the experience from the safety of my office chair. PEACE
Yes. I just did Ophir pass from Silverton to Telluride, then next Imogene pass from Telluride to Ouray this past week, all that took from 9 am to 1:30 pm.
Normally I'd suggest people just fast forward through the parts of my video they don't like. I'm not sure that's going to work in this case. Maybe you should watch those parts in slow motion? 😁🤣 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Nice video. I was there late August. It was my 3rd time. I like to stay in Ouray, run Black Bear Pass, eat lunch in Telluride at Brown Dog Pizza and then take Imogen Pass back over. If there is time I'll run Yankee Boy Basin before heading down into Ouray. Did you see the owl carved in the tree near the end of Imogene? Great trail and the views don't disappoint.
Was there plenty of time to do both Black Bear and Imogene in the same day? Roughly how long was each trail! All trails says all day each trail and I know thats not right. We will be coming from Moab to Ouray to spend a few days before going home. Last year Black Bear was still snowed in, first week of July!
Headed there in August with my F250, still haven't decided which end I'm going to start at. Only thing that will be of concern is coming up on someone going the opposite way. Unfortunately I won't be doing Black Bear Pass though. Would be too much of a pucker factor for me in my crewcab lol. Although I have seen vids of people doing it in full size pickups. Will ve doing some of the other trails though.
The music is almost bearable, but only almost. What’s wrong with engine noises? Also has a lot more to do with the images than that silly music. Otherwise really good, insightful commentary!
How long did it take you to run from starting in Telluride to ending in Uuray? Trying to do some planning for later this summer when this opens. Totally snowed in right now I hear.
The long low shed after the curve, you said you didn't know what it was for, has an old tractor with a bladder on it...i assume it's still used to clear rock slides and snow. The shed was open when I drove past it in Aug. Great trail. Nice video!
Thanks so much!
I'm always the one driving these roads, friends get too nervous. Hehe.
This was a nice treat, to relax and look.
God bless you!
Ran this trail in late August. I must agree it was our favorite. Thanks for the beautiful video!
This trail is on the short list. So many trails in Colorado, so little time! Great job on the video, thank you for posting 🇺🇸

Excellent video. I too will take my Tracker up there......and I have the V6 in mine !
Another wonderful video! Thanks again so much for letting me and Gavin follow you all. I would have had a terrible day if we hadn't met up with you
It was great hanging with you guys!
Ouray, CO is great!!!! Stop, shop, & eat. Get your barrings and then continue...Too late? stay over!!1
How in the hell do you allow an oncoming vehicle to pass you on those narrow cliff hanging parts of the road?

So if I leave Telluride at 8am, can I get to Ouray by dinner time? Just wondering how long a drive it would be in my 2018 JLU. Thanks...

Does it bother you that your hood has stains from the vents?
It must be driving you crazy....🤣🤣
How are your Ridge Grapplers doing?are they loud?
They are completely silent. One of the features I love about them since this is a daily driver.

Would have been a great video if it wasn't for all the irritating fast forwards.

@@o3djeeps Sorry, I didn't mean to come off as if I was complaining. You make great videos.
@@fyrfyter81 no worries... I appreciate the comment.

Beautiful views and nice trail. Suggestion the music was too loud and imho too much. But that's my personal opinion
Nice camera work
Watch trail recons video just posted of imogene pass. He ran it about 3 hours behind me. The shed door is open. Lol

jeep goals AF i need to visit.
Thanks for a great video!
Beautiful country.
Best narrator ever!

Awesome intel. It was closed both times I went through there.
That is a diesel generator in that shack. It was for power, not plowing.
I dont have words....Just freekin incredible.
Those we're pretty good words... 😁
How long is the drive from one side to the other?
18 or 19 miles. I have a place IN Ouray and ran it all the time in the summer.
Thank you for a great video, BUT... That Suzuki will most likely go further than you when original.. 😁 😁
Absolutely stunning journey and video. Wondering why these roads are not paved? They are quite dangerous.
Why on earth would you ever want to pave a jeep trail?!
Seeing these views really piss me off that it rained almost the entire time I was in Ouray. 4 days of non stop rain basically.
sad face. gotta go back! I had to go back because everything was still snowed in when we were there 2 years ago... it's worth it!
@@o3djeeps Definitely will in a few years. I have lots of long road trips coming up.
what time of the year did you go to Ouray where rained four days during your stay there?
