Another great video! On that fabric you aren't sure of I think I would go a little darker on the fabric so the threads pop. When you mentioned Sligo I paused the video & went back. My 2nd great grandfather was born there. Small world. Happy stitching!
Thank you, Linda. I am definitely going to change the fabric but I may put it on hold for a while. How fun that your great great grandfather was born in Sligo! I assume from your user name that you enjoy genealogy? I do too, but I am stuck on all lines. They all go back to Ireland. My mum took us to Sligo quite a few times when we were kids, to visit our granny. It’s a beautiful place. 💕
You’ve got so many great projects - I enjoyed seeing them all. For the piece you are unsure of the fabric for, I did have some trouble seeing it. Not sure if that would mean another restart - lol at it and decide if you’d enjoy stitching it as is. Thank you so much for the mention!
Thanks Laura! I do think I need to start it again as I am just not enjoying that fabric. Even if it wasn’t hard to see the stitching, I still wouldn’t be enjoying it. You are welcome. Your channel is great! 💕
Lol...a frenzy of starts seem to have been a theme for both of us 🤣. So excited to see your progress on your pieces - especially Victorian Charm. If I can get some small finishes done in February, I think I'll reward myself with that start 😁. Always good to see your videos - Happy stitching! 💕
I was thinking the same thing when I was watching your video! There must be something in the air. 😂I need to lay off the new starts for a while. I am so excited to get Victorian Charm finished. It’ll be 2 years in August since I started it. Thanks for watching and being so supportive…even with my funky hair!! 😂😂. 💕
Thank you for the input. It is hard to see and since I really dislike the fabric, I will restart it on another fabric. I may leave it for a few weeks before restarting though. Thanks for watching and for commenting! 💕
Hi Mary...Love seeing all your projects! Beautiful stitching! On the Twilight Bridge project you mentioned "waste knots". What are waste knots? Thanks for sharing with us!
Thank you Donna! Waste knots are when I knot the floss on the front of the fabric to anchor it. As I stitch the floss is anchored in the back and I can cut off the waste knots on front. It’s just a way to anchor the thread without using knots on the back. I hope that makes sense? Thank you so much for watching and for your kind comment. 💕
Lovely to spend time with you today, I always really enjoy your videos. You have some beautiful projects that I look forward to following your progress this year. Happy New year x
Hi I just started watching you. I appreciate your projects. Thanks for sharing. I just wanted you to know The Tin Smith wife has the extension bar for lowery. You might also consider the corner adaptor since you use a q snap. It has been amazing. I was having a problem getting my q snap to not move. Hope this helps. Robin
Thanks so much, Robin. I did purchase the extension bar just before Christmas but I am thinking about buying the corner adapter. I’m glad to hear it’s been a good thing for you. I do find that my qsnaps shift a lot and it would be nice to not have to deal with that. Thanks for watching! 💕
Thank you for sharing your projects and progress. Great videos to watch.
Thank you so much Talima. 💕

@@marysstitchingcorner8050 I'm hoping my start bug will be quiet for a while, too! 🤣 And your hair looks perfectly fine to me 💕
There are some cute starts. I had some trouble seeing the floss on the fabric for the restart you had. I could see it though.
