To put this into perspective with something similar, I live in Michigan and there's a nearby town/village called Capac. The school team name is the Capac Chiefs, and their mascot is an Indian Chief that wears the same kind of headress this fan wears. Why? Because Capac was named after Huayna Capac, Sapa Inca of the Inca Empire. As far as I'm aware, they named it after an Indian as a sign of respect, yet the school constantly gets letters every year demanding they change the name, because it's "racist". This is why you get the full story before trying to be a moralistic preacher on your high horse.
