Pacific Starz was really awesome throughout this documentary journey to the K-Pop world festival main stage, they had a real underdog story judging by those edits they got from the moment they showed up late arriving to S.Korea. I was very engaged by the moments they experienced. They should be proud of themselves they seem to have good heart.
I wish Pacific Starz could have really met BTS. I mean really really truly had a conversation with them :/

좋겠다. 무언가에 심취해서 빠져들고 열정을 느끼며 그 꿈을 향해달려가는 사람들...요즘 잠시 나태해져서 공부도 안하고 도태되게 살았는데 많이 배우고 가네요.

Kpop has grown more globally now than before, and BTS has become the BEST boy band in the galaxy and BLACKPINK is becoming the BEST girl band in the world. K-drama was popular mainly in Asian countries before this, but it has recently become increasingly more popular in Europe and North America through N※tflix 🖥😅

K팝이 인기 있는 이유는~ 중독성 있는 멜로디, 포인트 댄스, 잘생긴 가수 등이 1차 요인이겠지만, K팝이 글로벌 트렌드로 장기 집권 체계에 들어서고 있는 이유는, 1차 요인에서 파생된 N차 요인들이 강력하게 작용하고 있기 때문이라 생각합니다. K팝 대부분이 댄스풍이고, 첨부터 끝까지 댄스, 율동이 하나의 곡처럼 이어지고, 따라해 보고 싶은 재밌는 포인트 댄스 동작들이 있어, 그 포인트 댄스를 친구들 사이에서 한 번 흉내내다 보면, 다 같이 흉내내며 어울리기 쉽고, 시작하다 보면 또 다른 곡으로 까지 이어지기 쉽고, 같은 학교 다른 소그룹과도 비교/경쟁해 보게 되고, 공개 커버대스 행사에도 참여해 보게 되고, 복장 차려입고 댄스 영상도 찍어보고, 유튜버에도 올려보고~ 그런 전체적인 과정들이 다른 것으로 대체되기 쉽지 않기 때문에, 젊은층의 놀이문화로 전세계에 확산되고 있는 것입니다. 부가적인 사족을 덧붙인다면 기존에는 소위 노는 아이들만의 문화였던 댄스를 일반인들도 쉽게 따라해 보게 끔 보편화 시켰고(포인트 댄스 효과), 이로 인해 수줍은 사람들도 다른 사람들 앞에서 춤춰보게 되고, 왕따들도 댄스그룹 가입을 통해 차별없이 대해주는 친구들을 만날 수 있게 되고, 그것이 그 한 사람의 삶에서 매우 중요한 터닝포인트로 작용하고~ 그런 여러 복합 요인들이 N차로 작용하고 있기 때문에 인기 몰이하고 있다고 생각합니다. 단순 노래만으로 인기를 끌고 있는 것이 아니기 때문에, 다른 나라 가수들이 좋은 노래를 발표하더라도, 그것은 그 순간의 인기로 짧게 끝나버릴 것이지만, K팝의 인기는 세계 곳곳으로 보다 광범위하게 확산되고, 오랜 기간 장기 집권하게 될 것이며, 이는 기존 음악계를 쥐고 있던 서구 음반업계의 몰락을 가져올 것입니다. 그들도 그것을 눈치 챘기 때문에 이타카를 하이브에 매각했을 것입니다. K팝의 인기는 더 강력한 다른 대체제를 대중이 찾을 때 까지 지속될 것이라 생각하나, 그것을 대체할 수 있는 그 무언가가 저는 도무지 떠오르지 않습니다. 유일하게 떠오르는 것은 다른 나라 가수가 K팝 스타일을 따라하고, 기존 K팝 매니아들이 그들의 곡 까지 수용하기 시작하면서, K팝의 존재가 유명무실해 지는 것입니다. 그런데, 지금 SM 이수만이가 중국 애들 국내 가요계에 데뷔시키고, 중국어로 노래 부르도록 하면서, 그 틀을 깨려 하고 있습니다. 국내 수많은 가수들이 어렵게 구축한 이 생태계를 SM 이수만이가 중국 자본에 매수돼 팔아 먹고 있습니다. 물론 JYP 박진영도 비슷한 짓거리 하려 하고 있습니다. 그들이 이 같은 짓거리를 계속할 수 없도록 국민들이 여론으로 막는 수 밖에 없을 것 같습니다. 여러분들의 자각과 행동이 필요한 시기라고 생각합니다.
When the BTS part camed I started crying but someone please tell me why am I crying from just one eye I can't I would love to go and see them live too and make my dream come but I got a work for it!
