How this resonates for me rn: More & more waiting. "Wait" -- for them to be out living life; sharing their time, experiences, love, etc., with any number of others; having fun; exhausting other options; eaiting for their alternate situations to fall apart. . . Then, when all that's done & over, and I've missed out on everything (we've missed out on what we would've had meanwhile) -- then they fall back on someone they rejected, took for granted, perceive as reliable . . . Not my idea of love. Not my idea of showing affection. Not my idea of respect. I'm not romanticizing the idea of being some discarded old shoe someone comes back to when all the fun times are over and all the options ran out. That's disgusting.
As someone else said, no one eould want to be with anyone else if they were in love with someone. No one would want to hurt and even traumatize the one they cared about, loved, wetr in love with, by betraying them, by cheating, by ignoring them, by rejecting them, by making them feel awful, by treating them like a last resort. That's not healthy, that's not love, whatever else it is.
I don't want 'signs from the universe'; i want direct communication from the person.
If this resonates with anyone else in a different way -- maybe the two just met and one is actively leaving a dangerous situation (nothing else really comes to mind atm), I hope you unite and resolve anything that needs resolution, safely and very very soon.
