Another wonderful video. Those dimensions and lavendar and lace pieces will be stunning once you get through the backstitch. I do agree with you that its not fun to backstitch. But I like your idea of doing a thread of back stitch at a time to get progress.

You should check out colonial knots. To me they are easier and definitely more consistent than my french knots. Jan Hicks has a great tutorial on how to do them

Not a Spring Chicken, but having a hobby we love gives us hope and keeps our dreams alive! Everything you have stitched is lovely! It’s so funny, I just found It’s A Perfect World all kitted up in my stash and am going to start it! We can do a SAL!! I also have a piece of the Fabric Flair in the Smokey Blue, but have not decided what to stitch on it! I stitch on all types and counts of fabric! Also, not sure if you watch The Lancaster Stitcher, she does a lot of Mira’s and Lavender and Lace! Will check out Ailarra too! Love to find new stitchers to watch. You should watch Lock-A-Bees Stitches too, she is really fun! Happy Stitching!

Beautiful wips and FOs! I especially like the Lavender and Lace designs. You are so close to finishing your Dimensions pieces. If you haven't gotten to the French knots yet, Stitching Mommy just did a tutorial on it. I haven't done any myself yet but I have them in my future wips. I sympathize with you being housebound by your condition. My mother has AMD and hasn't been able to drive for years and she has said many times that she feels like a trapped bird. The loss of independence is hard. Take care.
I will watch stitching mommy’s tutorial on French knots for sure. I’ve done a few recently but I can’t keep them consistent! The Victorian house has so many of them. Hopefully her tutorial will help. I think doing one strand of thread a day or say 15 mins will allow you to finish them without being overwhelmed by the backstitch. Have you considered using beads instead of the French knots? Thank you Sallyann. I am sorry to hear you are housebound, that must be very difficult . There are times I don’t leave the house for a couple of weeks at a time. Along with the arrhythmia I have other health issues and all the anxiety that goes along with it. It can be very isolating. My stitching and card making help me a lot.
