- John shows us Springfield Arsenal's cannon display at a recent gun show in PA. There's a Swedish iron swivel gun which once belonged ot Gustav Hammarberg, a Swedish military hero from the 1700's. Then you'll see a very old, decorated bronze hackbut, or wall gun. There's also a fine bronze swivel gun with Dutch East India Company markings all over it. A magnificent pair of Dutch swivel guns stands on one end of the table, and between them is a very fine 17th Century Dutch Model cannon, which is sort of a salesman's sample, since the Dutch supplied bronze cannons to many other countries in Europe.
