    Very useful. Reading these signs while driving is the most difficult

    Thanks for your comment Ibifuro, on the roundabout where you do this on the video, the road marking show you that you can go right from both lanes. Unless you are overtaking or planning to go right at a junction that is very close after this one you should always choose the left lane. The same as on a dual carriage way, we drive on the left unless overtaking. Hope this helps.

      Just failed my test today today with 3_ with one serious fault. I used the left lane to turn right 👉

    Why did you have to stay on the left lane to turn right at the roundabout?

    • @rav119
      @rav119 8 років тому

      Ibifuro King Because both left and right lane can be used in order to turn right

      I didn’t get it too

      @ThinkDriving 6 років тому

      @@scottnick5428 If you have 2 lanes going where you are going you choose the Left, unless you are overtaking like on a dual carriageway. Or if you are planning to turn right at a junction which is just after the first one you might want to use the right lane on approach. Hope this helped?

    I know this is 2019, but why do the lights turn yellow after red? In the US the yellow light is skipped, since lights in the US are green, yellow, and red, then the light skips to green.

      It tells you to prepare to go, with some pedestrian crossings a flashing amber light means you can go if it is clear of pedestrians

    Can someone please explain to me why Guildford was second exit and not third. I saw when he drove past it had no entry sign but lt doesn’t say it on the sign ?? And yes I know there no arrows pointing left but just judging by the sign how did you know it was second

      3:52

    • @ThinkDriving
      @ThinkDriving 4 роки тому

      There are a couple of clues on this one, sometimes there are not any
      1, at the 3:52 you are driving over a dual carriage way that’s a clue that the next junction might have a no entry on one of the exits as that where people are coming off the dual carriage way.
      2. The exit that goes towards guildlford is in a green box, green signs are used for primary routes which are quite often dual carriageways. So like clue one that tells you that one of the other exits is probably where people are coming off the dual carriage way.
      3. Even if you thought it was third tho that would not be a problem, as the road marking here tell you to use the left lane, so even if you drive around to the Guildford thinking it’s third as long as you go there safely that’s all that maters.
      Hope this helps, this video might help you understand all this more,
