The problem is not roque, this will have a bad effect at barcelona. In a financial crisis, they spend 40m on a youngster that they don’t even want to play. We don't know what's happening during training sessions. Many Brasilians in the past were known for being lazy, so maybe that's the case? Also, during the time he had in the first squad, he was nowhere near the level people were saying he is. For better or worse Xavi knows what Lewy and Ferran are capable of. In case of Roque he's a big unknown and Xavi needs points, not experiments. Not defending Xavi though, I think both Roque and Ferran should get more chances. I'm trying to see Xavi's perspective.

He is a great player. If the club was in a better financial situation they wouldn't sell him. But right now he's one of the most sellable assets who won't significantly downgrade the team. I would prefer Raphinha being sold to someone like Araujo or MATS being sold.

There has to be some behind the scenes issue with Roque that we are not seeing as it makes no sense that they don't give him any minutes, especially at the end of the match. The only thing I can figure is it is something in training they are not happy with or some type of attitude issue. I wish we knew because it would explain the situation as it is baffling the fans and really making most people side with him on this.
Exactly. We don't know what's happening with Roque between games. He could be lazy, like many Brasilians before him in Europe. He could think he's a star because of his performance in Brasil. The Roque issue does not feel like its because of him. This feels more like a power move by Xavi to show that he wants full control over the players coming in to the club. Roque was a Deco decision, Xavi was not for it. Not playing Roque is Xavi's way of saying ''you want to go spend 30mil on a player I never wanted ? Watch it go down the drain.'' In any case its a bad image for the club and in signing any new talents.

They played a 4-2-3-1 and it was really bad.it was too much distance between the to midfield lines. So it was easy to find space in the midfield for real and stop the Barca passes from the defenders.
Not only Rogue I think Xavi is sending a message that he doesn't count on Joao Felix too.

Roque does not play because he lacks the movement and understanding of space, which all others up front, including Ferran do have, like it or not. Most of the games where Roque came in, you can see it if pay close attention, the boy is a bit scattered and clueless as to where to be during transition and build up play. We all know he needs time and minutes to improve, but allowing his agent bitch about not playing, shows a bit of entitlement and immaturity. Playing him now, will only send the wrong message to the squad thinking anyone can play if they complain, rather than proving themselves in training.
Ever since Xavi decided to stay, the excitement from this club is gone.
Okay, Roque situation is clear. Xavi doesn't want him. Club should just let him go in the summer. We've seen this with Etoo, Zlatan and many more players at barca. As long as club is giving the vote of confidence in Xavi, they should work around him. We will see next season what happens

Well, call me negative or glass half empty but I am dissatisfied with the results. I am ok with the 3 points because there is another chance to finish in 2nd place but another team would have demolished us with that single goal and the chances we gave out.
More so when we wasted more than 7 good looks and perhaps a few more chances of goals due to unforced errors to boot.
I was also unimpressed by Lamine today, not a single vertical, not 1 run behind the defender when Kounde was coming up. It's like he is tired and needs a break. Yes, he would get covered by 2 defenders but again, plenty of chances were given for him receiving the ball w/o being challenged immediately or enough time to run at the defender
