Wonderful video, thank you! You manage to make your posts so calming, wish we were there. I'll bet you sometimes wish to go back in time, but you have a lot of visual footage to help out with that. And wow, do the boys have the absolute fantastic experience to remember for life! All the best to the Taylor family! Jerry

Hi Jerry. We do wish we could go back. Hopefully when we retire though by then maybe I will feel to old to handle a boat again. The footage is great and it is really worthwhile us creating these videos for us in the future and for other sailors planning on going on an adventure like this.

I always try to add comments. I’m behind on doing that. I’m so jealous of your family. Wish I could’ve done with my boys what you’ve done for yours. I love the phone booth in the middle of nowhere - but I guess you never know where Superman might need to change.

Hi. It has been an amazing adventure. We sacrificed a lot to do this and appreciate how lucky we have been to do what we have done. Dylan and Nathan have had an incredible time and I hope they get the opportunity to do something similar with their kids one day. Thank you for watching.

Nice parrotfish catch, I guess they're not too pretty to eat. Fascinating lodge at the dock; I imagine it gets decorated piecemeal by visiting cruisers? Wonder if those dogs catch their own food? Wasn't optimistic that the island's public phone would work for Nathan. That unfortunate yacht might make a good fishing spot. Can't get bored in a reef!

Hi Frank. They are very pretty indeed. I wouldn't want to get my finger stuck in it's mouth though. We have come across a few of these lodges and the decoration is often really interesting. You may find a flag off a yacht that you were watching on youtube before you departed on your own adventure. Some sailors are also creative so they make some cool stuff too. The phone had seen better days for sure. Always find it strange that a large telecoms company doesn't have a responsibility to remove redundant equipment. We love the reef snorkelling so we spend a lot of time in the water and often see something new.

Great video, what was the name of that app you used with the aerial photography?

Hi Tony. It is seaiq. A user can create a google earth image off various satellite image options such as Bing, Google Earth etc. The advantage is that sometimes the image you choose to use from Bing has a cloud over the area you need so then you use an alternative source. These individual images that are created for upload into seaIQ are called KAP files. Lots of people have already created these for numerous areas so search online for the ones you need as you may be able to download a bunch. Very easy to install too. I have for Panama and some of the Pacific so let me know if I can help.
