Doing this on SUBSCRIBERS DEMAND comparison between kay beauty vs la girl pro illuminating foundation. so here it is a demo comparison between the two. battle of the brands. kay beauty vs la girl. @allthingsvenus. This is a brutally honest comparison so if you like any of these foundations please take my review with a pinch of salt.
MINI REVIEW :
The only similarity is they are both high-end drugstore foundations. besides that both are very different.
Coverage :
la girl pro is medium coverage while kay is sheer coverage.
skintype :
la girl is dry foundation good for oily skin kay beauty is a hydrating foundation good for dry to combination skin.
Finishing :
la girl pro coverage illumination foundation will give you a very dry finish almost powdery to touch whereas kay beauty will give you a very hydrating finish which feels wet to touch.
fine lines and texture ?
la girl pro coverage illuminating foundation will catch onto dry patches, textured skin, fine lines whereas kay beauty's coverage is so low that it doesn't catch onto dry patches or exaggerate fine lines.
oily skin or dry skin :
People who have oily skin , have resilient skin ,looking for coverage i think would enjoy la girl.
anyone looking for hydration, even texture, no foundation look , dnt mind the low coverage would enjoy kay beauty.
pricing ?
la girl is 1400 and kay beauty is 1200
kay beauty foundation and la girl pro coverage illumination foundation are both in my opinion
highly priced foundations for what they deliver.
Will i buy again ?
i don't want to buy again. however some people might enjoy them.

I am a NC35 to NC 37 but i use NC42 because i love the undertone and it sits beautifully on my yellow indian medium skintone.

Are you fit me warm nude 128 shade in matte+poreless? ...i want to know the shade for...milani, infallible (oxygen technology), mac ,pac foundation.....which can be better for whole day use ..i get a lot of sweat too
Infallible I use 140 golden beige but it's a brightening shade for me. The whole line of loreal runs neutral whereas Maybelline 138 is a pure warm almond undertone. Milani not used dnt know. Mac I am nc 20 but I use nc 42 I love a good healthy glowy tan look and nc 42 is perfect for that with white shirt. Pac fnd also never used dnt know. Best to go for foundations that let u sweat and dnt clog ur pores cuz u r talking about everyday. Instead of focusing only on foundation I would say focus on technique also ex: finish with a setting spray and in ur purse carry a blot stick if ur purse is small then blot sheets + wet cloth for sweat and oiliness. Always use matte powders if u have oily skin and sweat a lot. If u have dry skin like me I use non mattyfying powders with blot sheets.
Out of everything mentioned in ur list Maybelline fit me is the most mattyfying and longest lasting one.

Mere preference hai mere skin ke liye Rimmel, max factor miracle touch, loreal fresh wear, chambour revailising serum foundation, Maybelline fit me, Kay beauty cc cream wali coverage dega with no patches. foundation ka Dewey hona skincare se bhi hota hai. Full review ke liye videos dheklo. foundation series ki playlist hai usmai sab hai.

bumps ke liye skin ko clear karna padega with skincare, diet, workout, hydration very imp for us dry skin. hydration matlab sirf water nahi tomato soup lemon water coconut water watery fruits. foundation lagane ke phele do apply a thick primer. lots of it. that shuld smooth the bumps. powder bhi smoothing wala lagana na ki oil absorbing wala. fn bumps ko jada cover nahi kar sakti. but la girl usko jada karke dhikata hai. jakey uspey chipak jata hai. Rimmel usko thoda smooth karta hai.

Plz note they r inversely proportional. as the coverage goes up natural-ness of a foundation will go down. Tats just the way it is.

I have dry skin can I use la girl pro coverage conciler
La girl foundation I don't recommend for dry skin. La girl Concealer yes. Its moisturizing enough for dry skin. It doesn't dry out dry undereyes but the coverage is very little. If you have very little to cover then I think you might enjoy it 😍.

i am not buying it dear. It seems overpriced and very low on pigment I mean less in coverage like kay beauty foundation. The mini version's quantity seems quite less.
