Those of you who didn’t understand = holo is not like a colouring , more like a piece of paper molded to reflect light . If you put some chocolate on top of the holo sheet , the chocolate molds into the same shape as the holo, this mold is microscopic so the human eye can’t see it . Now when the chocolate sets in the right way ,it will also be molded to reflect (idk the proper word for it ) the light . This was 11 year old selfs take on it anyway . So I apologise for anything I got wrong .

Cristine: makes holographic chocolate
Willy Wonka: *Am I a JoKe To YoU?*
Nikola Zorgevica 😂right
I don't get it
@@inadada1745 Willy Wonka from Charlie and the chocolate factory. He made an entire chocolate landscape with a chocolate river.
Thank you Beyyyyn, that explanation of how it works at the beginning is so gooood!
Also, I came here, totally afraid there would be some weird stamping questionably healthy things onto food, but it's FRIGGEN NANO-MOLDING, THAT'S LIT!
Everytime I hear "temper chocolate" I have flashbacks to Claire from Gourmet Makes...
I was looking for this comment
Same! Especially when Chris says it could be better if you temper it. Lol 😆
Same
RIP GOURMET MAKES 💔
they should've inserted her definition from Kit Kats!
Ben and christine talking about if hollo is edbile:
Cat: NoOo iDk
Cat: Makes NO sENsE
cat again: NaHH nOOO wAHHhh
*holo
Can you tell Ben that I understand everything he said? Caz he explained so much and I'm pretty sure he will be happy to hear that someone 100% understand him lol 😂😅
I totally understood him too! He did explain it very clearly! Was reading the comments for this!
Ben from 2015: won't talk on camera
Beyyn 2020: talking to the camera more than Cristine
thank you for all of the likes you guys!
Cristine was joking around with this but honestly I loved seeing Ben get so psyched about this. Because I'm honestly gobsmacked - this is some AWESOME science and I need to try this myself.
Claire Saffitz’s fans:
Ben: we have to temper chocolate
Claire Saffitz’s fans: *traumatic flashbacks*
Oh sweet Ben you don’t know what you’re getting into
Yuppppppp 😂😂🤣🤣
Pastry arts majors: also traumatic flashbacks
@@grosebud4721 Pastry Arts grads: double flashbacks--one for learning to do it and another for watching Claire flail at it repeatedly. 😅😅😅
Jajajja yessss
Ben: hEy WhAtS uP sUpEr SiMpS
Cristine: 0.0
ben should make his own channel. 'super simps' will be his tagline
Ann Reardon from How to Cook that has an easier way to temper chocolate where she uses freeze dried coco butter.
If only Beyyyyn had known. Would have saved him a lot of work 🤣
Finally the video we have all been waiting for as a fan of both howtocookthat and simply nailogical.
Edit: okay now that I have watched the video please cristine watch howtocookthat aka ann readon(?idk how to spell correctly) video on how it works. She does an amazing job breaking it down!
"bendy and snappy... Like legally blonde?" Killed me
Lmaooo same here 😂😭💀
Christine and ben: abt to pull the holo off the first chocolate
Spanish mcdonald’s ad: WASSUP BOIIII
11:44 Cristine is just trying to learn something, meanwhile Zyler's having a full on existential crisis in the background. 😂😂😂
We should just be happy that Cristine isn’t eating nail polish
Guessing you haven’t seen her other videos where she makes a cake from nail polish (edible tho)
@@kenziespivey1822 but this time she’s not so-
Don’t give her any ideas
@@kenziespivey1822 what, no, that’s the thing. They are glad she’s eating chocolate and note nail polish, like she did in the other video
@@heysaucemikehere1804 my bad😆
Y'all should get one of those microscopes like safiya had, to look at the tiny grooves
i love how ben is actually also intrigued to whatever shenanigans Cristine is doing
Ben: lets temper chocolate
Me: *cries in Claire Saffitz*
😂😂😂
👏👏👏
Ben: no because the sheet works like a mold and shapes
Cristine: MY MAGIC FINGERS MAKE HOLO
"I don't think we'll be adding any nail polish to this"
*edible nail polish flashbacks*
Heat miser: everything burns in my clutch
Snow miser: everything freezes in my clutch
Simply miser: everything is *💿HOLO💿*
“I’m not trying to be dumb” : me constantly
Somewhere, Claire Saffitz felt a chill running down her spine.
I imagined claire watching this and losing her mind
When Ben started defining what tempering chocolate was, all I could think of was Claire being asked the same question over and over again xD
As a physics major, I really appreciate Ben's explanation!
