Hi everyone, I plan on doing a second video later on farming SR or BS in order to finish her build and make her nearly perfect. It wont be a video that comes out super soon as I haven't been getting super lucky in my domain runs.
ive had ganyu for so long, and she is still my favorite character. I will say that she is incredibly hard to use if your trying to clear late game content like floor 12 of the spiral abyss since everything is getting stronger and more difficult for older characters with the updates
I definitely believe once we get a Cryo buff that so many characters will be so good in their respective ways. I don’t want to take Ganyu to abyss until I get Kazuha just because I don’t like how short Sucrose’s burst lasts
i used to use ganyu, nahida, kazuha, bennet but kazuha feels really iffy to play with melt ganyu unless i don't run nahida which is a downgrade itself. So i usually find myself running her with Nahida Xiangling and bennet. His uptime with VV is super short and after its gone its super hard to proc again while the enemies are burning from nahida so i wouldn't typically recommend it which is a bummer since kazuha/other anemo units buff gives a lot of value. Melt ganyu is typically the only really good team nowadays since freeze is reallly reallly bad with the enemies not being able to be frozen. Kazuha is pretty good if you don't run her with nahida though. with my melt team in one charge attack i did 86k then an additional 161k with the frostflake arrow againt the pyro flower. i had no food buffs, just using my regular rotation. I have her tripple crowned with amos bow ( which isnt her best in slot anymore but with my build it is since im super low on atk and fully into EM) My stats are 1964 atk, 528 em, 62 crit rate (+20 from talent) and 172 crit damage. Er doesnt really matter with melt teams since you rarely use her ultimate. You can reach similiar numbers if you build her well but i have a very very very very invested ganyu and those are her peak numbers which dont seem bad but nowadays shes def fallen off but i still like her nonetheless. Even when a cryo buff happends or a new unit comes that helps cryo i feel like the meta will be so much more different that ganyu even after buffs wont be in the picture even, we will see but i love ganyu and allways will and never regret pulling her. hope you also wont regret pulling her as shes been and still is my fav character. you should also stream more often if you play genshin a lot, i might hop in ;)
@@DannyTheTotalBot Im going to try the Nahida team since it seems like a pretty simple team itself rotation wise. If I even had a better bow I would use it, unfortunately the 2 Lyney bows I pulled are on my friends account. I might pull it when he eventually comes back before Yelan (Unless Yelan reruns before him). I will be streaming more soon ive just been busy grinding a few other games atm :)
Yes, if you're running reverse melt or melt in general. I want to build on more of a DPS Ganyu and as of right now I still don't have Amos bow nor Hunter's Path for reverse melt. In my pinned comment I didn't mention that I was going to strongbox into Wanderers Troupe but I was going to do so once I actually started properly farming for her artifacts :)
You should swirl cryo with sucrose before you shoot with ganyu and also you were hitting only 50k because the second part of your charged attack (the stronger one) wasn't hitting scara cause he was dead, try on a higher lvl variant.
I dunno if it's hard to get Ganyu. I tried for Shenhe but lost to Ganyu. I mean, i appreciate it but i want the one who was in jail for the longest time
It feels bad when you lose but thankfully theres a higher chance to lose to someone whos decent on the chronicled banner. I wouldn't have been too upset by losing to Baizhu or Shenhe but however im just glad my month of exploration did not go to waste :)
I did know this, however since 4.4 everyone calls him 'Gaming' and not 'Gah-ming'. I would also like to clarify that I do pronounce it correctly 99% of the time

I don’t have 4 piece VV on sucrose at the moment so it wouldn’t give me the shred I need. I’ll be leveling and rebuilding her soon though
