The way they open our luggage is so annoying.
Imagine your fellow man searching and messing your things up just because he's looking for mobile phones,laptops and a whole lot so you can pay the tax for those items. It should be machines doing this work.
I haven’t allowed anyone or any officer open my luggage since 2016 you dare not 😂😂
@@okyeredoris2460 yea it's annoying and embarrassing, last year December I argued with them that I wouldn't let them open my luggage for over 10mins.
Then they said okey they should at least check my hand luggage 🧳.
Meanwhile they wanted me to tip em.

Kofi the main problem is not the day travellers but the night travellers from Europe that is where the money is
Kofi. The problem at the Ghana airport is the customs at the exit gate. They will stress you with giving them money and that’s a bad reputation for Ghana and the senior officials see it but won’t say anything. It’s a disgrace to foreigners who are treated this way. I came from the US in March and a lady and a guy harassed me tilll I was angry and had to force my way out.

Omg, the same thing happened to my family and I last year when we visited. Upon exiting, there was an older and younger migration officers who spend almost 10 minutes searching our bags knowing fully there was nothing in there. Mind you, we traveled with a toddler and a baby. We had a long journey and were very tired. The older man clearly asked that we gave him some coins cos" boys abre" obviously we refused and the search went on. I became very angry cos my toddler was being a toddler 😢 and i started shouting which led the younger officer to tell his college to stop and let us go😒😒.
The immigration officers like asking for money. It's so frustrating 😫

We all experiencing this. But from experience. Give them the money. You may not know when you need their help in the future.
Example. I had an issue with my bags. The fact that I gave the lady at the counter 2 years ago. I ask for her and she helped me locate it. Trust me. As embarrassing as it is. If you have the money. Give it to them.

I think Terminal 3 needs a tunnel to join the old one terminal 2 for the other flights to Kumasi and the other part of the country.
I believe it will be safe for us than coming out and take a taxi to terminal 2

Even those boys at the check in section will tell you that your Visa is not issued in Ghana so you can't get boarding pass unless you go back to South Africa to travel to your destination just imagine being treated like this in your own country
