Watched this video from beginning to end last night. Biggest takeaways from the video: 1. This has to be Grant's most clutch performance ever. Literally every time it seemed like Tig was pulling away Grant had an answer. 2. Everyone in the group played incredibly well. I was thinking about the scores and the highest score was an 86 from the tips, at a course that was described as one of the hardest they've ever played AND with conditions that got worse throughout the day. 3. The mental fortitude that everyone showed on a 7 hour round. WOW 4. Good Good film team is the GOAT. To produce and edit a video like this when they didn't have their normal camera equipment is seriously so impressive. Good Good Majors are my favorite videos, literally stayed up till 2am because I just couldn't stop watching. Thanks guys!
Crazy to think that it took Grant chipping in 3 times and catching really good breaks, just to tie Tig, who putted poorly including a 3-putt from 12 feet
I'm only 31 minutes in and intend to finish all of this but had to stop and say CONGRATS ON 5 YEARS BUBBIE! I'm 10.5 months in after a relapse from 3.5 years of sobriety and it took me 8 years to get back to sobriety. Proud of you dude, you really are living your best life.
I stumbled upon this video last night at 11pm. It was so entertaining and well produced that I couldn't leave it! I had Never heard of these guys before , save for our own great Rick Shiels. I was so impressed. I believe this is a glimpse in to the future of golf entertainment. High production values that for me, are a match for any major network. Combined with great interaction between the players ( great mates, obviously,) and all the information a golf enthusiast would want regarding distances and clubs used etc. The LIV golf operation wants to shake things up and make our wonderful sport more accessible to a younger demographic. ( among other things.) The PGA and European tour are responding in their own way. I believe if this video was widely seen by youngsters interested in taking up a sport, this would be enormously helpful in making them chose golf. A great day out with your mates, having a laugh while trying to control a small ball against the elements, with some sexy clubs dressed in cool clothes! To all the people involved, not only in front of camera but also the production team, who I'm sure, are many. Very well done.
I really like all of these guys and have watched the content for years, and as much as I loved OG GM Golf content, of all of them I would love to play a round with Bubbie. He’s the most positive person I’ve ever seen
I knew i felt bubbies vibe for a reason. Bubbie, you have no idea how hard you hit home for me and probably a lot of other people out there with your sobriety callout. Its about 6 years for me currently, since then ive bought a house, got a drumset and golf clubs again, found a partner, had a son, built the machine shop i always wanted to, got some certifications underneath my belt and got a job as an engineer. Its crazy to type all that out. And now i found yalls channel and got back into golf hard and have a goal again to get my card. You are all inspirations
I hate watching Matt struggle in these majors. Dude is so passionate about his craft, and you can tell he really takes it hard when the shots aren’t there. Keep at it, my guy! We’re behind you!
Did something happen with him? His games has been off for awhile now. And now it just seems to be compounding when he hits a bad shot. You can tell cause Garrett has been extremely gentle with him during his shots.
Matt has one of the most natural and smooth looking swing, he looks great. Everybody has ups and downs... hes gona to take it next time i can feel it!👍
I think he’s doing a couple of things more than golf right now and it’s shown in the past that when he’s playing really often, he steps to the leader board. In saying that, I’ve seen that he got a golf sponsor and I must be wrong but that’s just the way it appears. Also with most shots, you can tell he’s been figuring something out for quite a few videos now and this has been the best so far, so hopefully it keeps going up! Everyone is struggling on this course

In a week that the FedEx starts, I found myself looking forward to this video more than PGA tour golf and it didn't disappoint. Editing was unbelievable as always and props to Colin & Max. With all of the variety they throw out, like the Wheel of Not Ideal and such, they've made it more far more interesting, especially for the younger generation just now getting into the sport. Personally, I've always enjoyed watching normal golf, but I can see why some people would find it boring. However, after watching these kids, I definitely like watching something different mixed in now.

Everything about this was amazing. The fact that you all stayed so focused for almost 8 hours while playing golf is incredible! The editing is already spoken for. Everything good good brings to the table is growing the game of golf far better than the pillow fight between liv golf and the pga tour. First time watching, and there's something about watching these guys that makes you smile the whole way through. Maybe it's their incessant positivity, their constant encouraging of one another while competing, their respect for the game. It makes me grateful I grew up playing the game and am now getting back into it after years off. People like this make you happy to have the privilege of playing the game. Grant has always been right up there since he joined the channel. There's not much between him, Tig and Garrett. I don't think this video is the best evidence for that though given he had three chip ins. On another day he's finishing 3 strokes behind Tig.
Here I am on the 11th after watching about an hour a day of this EPIC performance and Micah says ‘if it took you 3 days to watch I hope it was worth it’ Lemme tell ya Tig, that was some 1st class entertainment!! Y’all are legendary, heck of a job with this one.

Watched every second of this video. Rick is a class act and I love how each of the GG boys brings a little something different to the table. I grew up in a small town with two brothers from different mothers. It's fun to watch 6 brothers do what they love and be so successful. Congrats, Bubbie, for the 5 years sober. Great 3 hours. Well that was an epic 3 hour watch but well worth it. Great content, good to see everyone's game, good and bad. Goes to show just how good the tour guys are. Great to see the JCB close up and personal. Looks a great track but those greens look super tricky. Rick, get yourself over to their manor and do the same thing.
Steve plays so well for the first nine then you slowly see him start to swing harder and care less about where his shots go. It just shows how mentally strong players have to be, to be a great consistent golfer
This very point was discussed on Rick Shiels Podcast with Garrett and Grant. Steve was described as a front 9 player. In some ways though it is a part of the mystique of the whole thing that he's so chilled and has a laissez-faire attitude that it could become quite boring if everyone played well and there weren't these character variations. Micah, Grant and Garrett are what I would describe as true golfers, Bubbie is intent on improving and has a great attitude that we could all learn from when things don't go quite right, Matt is trying too hard much of the time and Rick could likely accept that like many of us he's lost some distance as he's become older and take another club more often. Too many shots going left from delofting.

I just finished working 3 weeks straight and on my first evening where i don't have squat to do tomorrow I get home, turn on the TV and see THREE HOURS of a GOOD GOOD MAJOR posted on YT. That was by far the best golf video I have ever watched. The suspense and comebacks between Tig and Grant were incredible. Grant did not play well today, but was able to overpower everything and manage to get through it. Great job to you boys!

Big respect to 5 years sober my brother. I am currently battling addiction. Been in and out of rehab but finding it difficult to stop the alcohol. If I learned my lesson from my frist rehabilitattion, I would be 526 days sober by now. Sadly, I guess, I haven't learned my lesson as of yet. But thankyou. I feel like I am on the right path. I will learn one day.
Watching these videos, I often wonder how Bubbie keeps such a warm, positive attitude when he gets a tough break or eliminated in a knock out competition - and the answer is perspective. He clearly knows that nothing that happens on the course is going to measure up to what he has already overcome off the course. Such a great role model.

Took me about 7 hours to finish the whole thing, but was absolutely worth it. Incredible quality, incredible course, incredible shotmaking. Really want to shout out Rick for participating in this. I'm sure a lot of us would agree that he was our first entry into the youtube golf world - the pioneer, if you will. Full 18 hole match under scrutiny in these conditions is no small feat. I knew i felt bubbies vibe for a reason. Bubbie, you have no idea how hard you hit home for me and probably a lot of other people out there with your sobriety callout. Its about 6 years for me currently, since then ive bought a house, got a drumset and golf clubs again, found a partner, had a son, built the machine shop i always wanted to, got some certifications underneath my belt and got a job as an engineer. Its crazy to type all that out. And now i found yalls channel and got back into golf hard and have a goal again to get my card. You are all inspirations

Did something happen with him? His games has been off for awhile now. And now it just seems to be compounding when he hits a bad shot. You can tell cause Garrett has been extremely gentle with him during his shots.
Matt has one of the most natural and smooth looking swing, he looks great. Everybody has ups and downs... hes gona to take it next time i can feel it!👍

I think he’s doing a couple of things more than golf right now and it’s shown in the past that when he’s playing really often, he steps to the leader board. In saying that, I’ve seen that he got a golf sponsor and I must be wrong but that’s just the way it appears. Also with most shots, you can tell he’s been figuring something out for quite a few videos now and this has been the best so far, so hopefully it keeps going up! Everyone is struggling on this course

With all of the variety they throw out, like the Wheel of Not Ideal and such, they've made it more far more interesting, especially for the younger generation just now getting into the sport. Personally, I've always enjoyed watching normal golf, but I can see why some people would find it boring. However, after watching these kids, I definitely like watching something different mixed in now.

Maybe it's their incessant positivity, their constant encouraging of one another while competing, their respect for the game. Grant has always been right up there since he joined the channel. There's not much between him, Tig and Garrett. I don't think this video is the best evidence for that though given he had three chip ins. On another day he's finishing 3 strokes behind Tig.

Watched every second of this video. Rick is a class act and I love how each of the GG boys brings a little something different to the table. I grew up in a small town with two brothers from different mothers. It's fun to watch 6 brothers do what they love and be so successful. Congrats, Bubbie, for the 5 years sober. Great 3 hours. Well that was an epic 3 hour watch but well worth it. Great content, good to see everyone's game, good and bad. Goes to show just how good the tour guys are. Great to see the JCB close up and personal. Looks a great track but those greens look super tricky. Rick, get yourself over to their manor and do the same thing.
Steve plays so well for the first nine then you slowly see him start to swing harder and care less about where his shots go. It just shows how mentally strong players have to be, to be a great consistent golfer
This very point was discussed on Rick Shiels Podcast with Garrett and Grant. Steve was described as a front 9 player. In some ways though it is a part of the mystique of the whole thing that he's so chilled and has a laissez-faire attitude that it could become quite boring if everyone played well and there weren't these character variations. Micah, Grant and Garrett are what I would describe as true golfers, Bubbie is intent on improving and has a great attitude that we could all learn from when things don't go quite right, Matt is trying too hard much of the time and Rick could likely accept that like many of us he's lost some distance as he's become older and take another club more often. Too many shots going left from delofting.
I will say, ive never watched a full round of pro golf but this, i watched every minute of. GG

That was by far the best golf video I have ever watched. The suspense and comebacks between Tig and Grant were incredible. Grant did not play well today, but was able to overpower everything and manage to get through it. Great job to you boys!

Big respect to 5 years sober my brother. I am currently battling addiction. Been in and out of rehab but finding it difficult to stop the alcohol. If I learned my lesson from my frist rehabilitattion, I would be 526 days sober by now. Sadly, I guess, I haven't learned my lesson as of yet. But thankyou. I feel like I am on the right path. I will learn one day.

Watching these videos, I often wonder how Bubbie keeps such a warm, positive attitude when he gets a tough break or eliminated in a knock out competition - and the answer is perspective. He clearly knows that nothing that happens on the course is going to measure up to what he has already overcome off the course. Such a great role model.

I'm sure a lot of us would agree that he was our first entry into the youtube golf world - the pioneer, if you will. Full 18 hole match under scrutiny in these conditions is no small feat. Congrats on another excellent video and milestone, guys - truly remarkable stuff that's changing the game.
I have never watched two competitors battle it out during a round so fiercely. Congrats to the victor but seems to be an incredibly difficult course. I'd be remiss to not mention a solid congrats to Bubbie on 5 years of sobriety. Congrats to everyone and it was amazing to watch!
