You are incorrect. Real olive oil is only found from the people who make it. Olive oil today is ultra processed, including extra virgin oil. Real olive oil cannot be used to cook or fry stuff with, hence the need to ultra process it. But indeed, pink Himalayan salt is better than regular salt.

I love this rice & one of my other favorites is curried pigeon peas & rice. I grew up w/Jamaicans & Island folks. Also my Aunt's husband was Puerto Rican, he would make this at every family gathering. I loved it! ❤
I had that in Mo Bey for the first time in my life. That's an incredible dish! Jamaica should be proud! You have rice with coconut favor w/half the sweetness you'd imagine, then slight aromatics of cinnamon and all spice. Not punch you in the face, just a hint. Savory beans 🫘 that taste of mild onion, garlic & scotch bonnet. It dances on the tongue as the flavor moves up your nasal passage. Whoever's Grandmomma made that recipe knew what she was doing! Paired with stewed yardbird, I need a nap. 😴 👏🏽 👏🏽 👏🏽 That ain't just RIce & Peas.
