Is it weird to say that I am proud of him? that AGUST D is the only name in the credits. Did it all by himself. Also this man is objectively extremely attractive. @John, this MV reminds me of DAECHWITA too - as if it was a sequel of it somehow. BTW, Thai ARMYs were thrilled when SUGA/Agust D came to Thailand on 'personal' visit a couple months ago and now we know why! A fellow ARMY said she's kicking herself right now because she saw from across the street that someone's crew was filming. Had she crossed the street she might have a glimpse of her and her daughter's bias! Anyway, many of us said they are having rice noodle in that rooster-painted bowl today! 😁 Kudos to the crew who slipped in a bag of Yoongi's favourite mandarins for him to hold when he jumped on the iconic Tuk-Tuk! 👍👏
Like you pointed out he said that Amygdala will be the third in the Agust D trilogy - I can't wait for that one to drop! In the meantime I should probably catch up on my Scarface and Dark Knight Rises... 😅
Suga deserves an award for his acting abilities in this mv .. the line that got me the most is " your freedom of speech could be the reason for someone's death .. ain't that the absolute truth 👍🥰🥰💜💜💜 Suga the actor 🔥🔥🔥🔥

I just found your channel but I love your BTS reactions videos. My husband does not understand when I try to tell him anything about them, but SUGA (AGUST D) is a musical genius!!!!!!❤
The live version of this song is up and its just as masterful and the traditional Korean instruments being used w/ the band is beyond exceptional Suga is a TRUE MUSCIAN I truly understand why his so in demand as a songwriter and producer. 🎉❤
I noticed on a rewatch that the crimnal is representing SUGA and the agent is in essence the dark-haired Agust D who killed the corrupt king, Blonde Agust D, in dwaechita. So with the Person of SUGA killing Agust D it quite literally is Agust D's death in his album storyline. I only noticed because the scar over the eye was on 1 yoongi but not the other
I don't know if you notice the different voice tone between the two Agust D? If so I think that's what make the song extra interesting... the traditional instrument give it a different flavor but you still know this is suga aka Agust D
Aaaah, I've been waiting for your reaction!!!! You never disappoint!!! Also it's a given that Yoongi leaves us speechless everytime he drops something new 💜💜💜
You should do Metal covers of BTS songs. My homie had a Pantera style band back in the day and they used to cover Backstreet Boys as a joke, but it slapped fr.

Thank you for this reaction, John. No, you don't want him to put your chopsticks to the same use he did at the start of the video, lol! I love this video and the way it goes beyond Daechwita - not just new Agust D killing the old Agust D but freedom from old restrictions yet differentiating between freedom and self-indulgence. Agust D rocks that apex predator vibe!
Yes, I think he wisely references Daechwita because he's aware that he's dealing with a version of the same struggle/inner demon, but as you said, he's got a different perspective on it now cuz he's matured and lived more. I feel like USUALLY, there are things in our lives that we deal with, and we might deal with them at some point and "defeat" that inner demon, but many times they come back around in some form or another, and in this case, Agust D is dealing with that same inner struggle from before....But his current self is even MORE forceful and ready to deal with it, and does so gleefully and aggressively. At the end, when he's in the cop car and goes to the restaurant, he's got the suit coat (and maybe the pants) of the Detective Yoongi he killed, got that Detective Yoongi's cops giving him a ride in a cop car, going where he says go, and then he sits down and eats with the same chopsticks that he used to start the whole process of luring the Detective Yoongi to him (and also the same chopsticks that killed the thing he hates are the ones he needs to sustain his own life by eating) ...... he's taken the good useful things from the Detective Yoongi. i.e, incorporated what good he could learn from this struggle into his life, and destroyed the bad things.
Agust D Always slapping you around the face whilst imparting his wisdom as you bounce and grin like a fool! You have no choice but to listen, no choice but to hear. Genius comes nowhere close to his level!
This song and the mv had me in a chokehold. Not only did Yoongi's acting get MUCH better (and he was already literally a pro), but the entire cinematography backs it up. The song is a banger, no doubt. HAEGEUM is a traditional instrument, but it also means release from prohibition. The mv is so fascinating. In Daechwita, he killed the blond Agust D because he was too corrupt with anger and resentment. Agust D couldn't take it anymore. But in Haegeum the Agust D scar ended up as corrupted as the blonde Agust D. It's interesting that the new Agust D basically started the mv by killing a person and ending with the memory of it. Agust D is a trilogy because Yoongi was finally able to unite with Suga and Agust D. They are no longer apart because he learned to embrace all of his feelings. In this MV, the new Agust D. is a vigilante and violent villain because that's what Agust D is. But instead of just killing the scarred Agust D, who in this narrative, is a corrupt secret agent, (as happened to the blonde Agust D), he ALSO burned the money scar that Agust D had. My interpretation is that this whole mv revolves around FREE SPEECH, which may not be correct. 🤣. Finally, cheers to SUGA for yet another unique work of art.👏❤
Wow...Love this !!!! You go Suga!!!! Lyrics are unbelievable. The background set; rooster, bicycle, tangerines, punching bag, gold fish... Am I reading too much into it? But I don't think Suga would just let the set decorators put random things around without checking it. The visual images are too important to him. (Same henchman?) There may be others?..I've only watched it 9 times so far. My interpretation up til now: (I love BTS videos) Suga in suit ...crooked detective? (money = what you think is security? ) Suga in tropical shirt ...undercover cop who finally wins once and for all, at the expense of money. People today are "forbidden" to think that money isn't success/security. It's everything. But what if we let it go? I think he's an "undercover cop" because in the last scene, he's not under arrest for murder, he just gets out of the back of the police car like he's getting out of a taxi. Suga eating Raman...he has his life back. I might be totally out in left field... My imagination's all over the place! lol
Regarding lyrics- Just saw an interesting video from a Korean channel and he was saying in Eastern philosophy and thought there is “freedom” and “bangjong”. He felt it may be causing confusion by some in the west. He says that freedom in Korean is something you can do as long as it doesn’t harm anyone else. Bangjong is acting freely in a reckless way that can harm others. AgustD is talking about a freedom that doesn’t harm anyone else. (I do not speak Korean but after checking out other translations it seems correct.)
The chopsticks symbolizing capitalism is so crazy. The weapon he used is also used to feed him. He criticizes capitalism but acknowledges he’s a part of the system
hey man, you should definitely react to quadeca!! his best songs are definitely: born yesterday, tell me a joke, and fantasyworld. he was a youtuber and rapper, but completey destroyed the stigma and made a beautiful album about him dying and watching his family try to cope with his death. he's a very alternative and eerie but soulful sound, and produces everything himself. check him out!
I feel like its a continuation of Deachwita. The previous August D killed the August D that was a mad king and he took his place as the king here as a mob boss. And now in here the new August D from D-Day era is killing Deachwita era one. At least that’s how I see it😂 great reaction. I love Suga and his rapping. The full album is just AMAZING. And it’s on repeat since yesterday!
I love it. I think he incorporated the smoking because V smoked and JK's e-cigarette. There was a lot of fuss online. Sorry if my English is not correct, but it's not my native language
08:49 I adore everything about this video and most of the good stuff has already been said but as a mature lady I was particularly happy to see him with a cigarette, now don't get me wrong I don't want him to smoke but I do want him and all the idols to have the choice as an adult to do what ever they wish, I guess with in reason , not murder ect , anyways, both v with the fake photo and junglook with his vape caught on live got so much backlash , so I love this as Sugas ways of saying f you , I'm a grown ass man and can if I wish lol , Being part of Army is one of the most amazing parts of my life, but there are some crazy opinionated Army's that make me ashamed. Let the boys grow, love, make mistakes in life like our own children and let them learn from them , they gave up their youth for us , let's not take away their adulthood too. Thank you for the reaction x

There may be others?..I've only watched it 9 times so far.
My interpretation up til now: (I love BTS videos)
Suga in suit ...crooked detective?
(money = what you think is
security? )
Suga in tropical shirt ...undercover cop
who finally wins once and for all, at the expense of money.
My imagination's all over the place! lol
it's so good
awesomeee
Thanks for your Beautyfull Reaktion 💜
I don't know what to say..but wow..i love it...its a fricking awesome..💜💜💜💜
This was not the end of agust d, it is the end of the trilogy.
Give a good look in Snooze, in the same album! I guess you'd like ❤
“I wish he’d steal my chopsticks” 😂 you’re not alone in that John!!
Yoongi said to watch Amygdala MV then Daechwita and Haegum to fully understand
Hahaha! Love the chopsticks!
Thank you 💜
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you 💜
Take a shot every time he says freakin
hey man, you should definitely react to quadeca!! his best songs are definitely: born yesterday, tell me a joke, and fantasyworld. he was a youtuber and rapper, but completey destroyed the stigma and made a beautiful album about him dying and watching his family try to cope with his death. he's a very alternative and eerie but soulful sound, and produces everything himself. check him out!

I preordered it online in a Shop here in Germany and the delivery is late. I hope it comes the next days. 😔👋
❤fantastic
hi john, have you seen the live ver???? the rock vibe i get from it, i could even hear your voice on it...i would fit so well!!! I need a hardcore rock vibe on it...what u think??
GOAT - Min Yoongi - any questions?
This is supposed to be related to daechwita, and we're gonna have a mv for amygdala too where he'll tell you when and where agustd got that scar
