So cool.you found that Paradox album, it's great when you find stuff in the wild!! I'm just getting into Suffocation myself, got Breeding the Spawn coming next week! Then I'll have 4 albums by them! Terrific band! I Would recommend Shadows and Dust, Serenity in Fire from Kataklysm as well as their new one Goliath!

Pinnacle of Bedlam is my favorite 2000s suffocation record. Not a fan of most Kataklysm but check out the The Mystical Gate of Reincarnation EP from 93 that shits insane. WAY DIFFERENT than their modern stuff.

I started my Suffocation collection after listening to their new album last year. So brutal. It got me into them. Man, I missed out on their early stuff. Killer stuff buddy.

Awakening Records reissued Paradox's Heresy on CD. Real Gone Music reissued the LP. Great album no matter the format!
Absolutely agree, so stoked I have it. I will look up that CD, wouldn't mind having it on that format as well.

Sylvan Realms sounds really good It's certainly got lots going on to keep you interested. Nice to see more Suffocation in your collection Pinnacle is fantastic I think it was my first album from them I bought. Can't go far wrong with Cattle Decapitation I've been meaning to revisit the early albums I own. Ingested don't disappoint one of the better slammy bands for me although I don't have many of their albums.

Hell yea Simon, I dig that Sylvan Realm alot, ton of great musicianship in it. It's a great album to spin to a thunderstorm. That Ingested is on constant rotation, I only have to of their albums but getting ready to pick more up. Cattle Decapitation is starting to becoming another go to. I live the album before the one I show here. Thank you for watching Simon! Crank that Hate, it is the best way to listen to it.

Kataklysm's 2010 album, Heavens Venom was my first time listening to them. Great album, I'd recommend it. I like Pinnacle of Bedlam, and I own it, I just don't like that it doesn't have the "breakdown slammy pit parts" the other albums have.
I agree with you on that Pinnacle Of Bedlam but those solos for me make up for it. I'll check out that Kataklysm

Great update Steve! Cool to see some Suffocation, Cattle Decap and Ingested. I need to check out more of them, I really dug that Ingested album when I heard it. I think I know of Kataklysm, but I haven't listened to them.
Really cool you picked up some Thy Art is Murder, I was only listening to them the other day! I have the one after Hate, Holy war and its awesome! I love Humanicide by Death Angel, was the first thing I heard by them! Nice one 😁🤘🏻
