Great lesson! Thank you so much, sounds just like Joe Pass! The first stage of my life was the Chet Atkins stage, where I played mostly by ear. On my first day in college, 1975, I heard Joe Pass & Herb Ellis “Two for the Road”, and my life forever changed. I’m still in my Joe Pass (Johnny Smith, Jimmy Raney, Wes, Jim Hall) stage. Hearing him play caused me to study music, theory & the guitar. I’m still trying 50 years later.
