Do the Hornets want Ace Bailey? 6'7" Lamelo, 6'8" Brandon Miller, and 6'10" Ace Bailey makes your Guards and SF spot gigantic. Height and length is very important now. If Mark works out and Salaun improves. You could have a tram that just has more height and length than most teams. That makes you a difficult team to guard and a difficult team to score on when people lock in and realize they have a chance to be great at Charlotte.
Hornets need to send a "Make a Wish" kid to represent them at the draft lottery. They need all sympathy from the league they can get. I mean to be that bad and not get the number 1 pick since 1992.. but knowing the Hornets, they would probably promise the kid a PS5 afterward and then give him a Micic jersey instead.
Miller's sort of the victim of overreacting and overcorrection. He went from getting booed and expected to go to Greensboro to "why hasn't he become Paul George?" in a year and a half lol. I guess that's a good problem.
Miller averaged 26-27 points that long stretch when Melo and Miles were out and the team was in contention most of the games. He doesn’t take too many bad shots he keeps being thrown grenades at the end of the shot clock and has only a few plays run for him to get open. Do y'all not remember his last few months last season when he averaged 25 per game and was scoring all over all-NBA defenders? He actually makes good passes, but his teammates fumble the pass and/or miss the shot. He seems frustrated to me the last few games. One game you could hear Miller on the broadcast saying get me the ball over and over to Coach Lee. I think it's that his opportunity to show what he can do and has improved upon is limited by Melo taking most of the team's shots without operating a semblance of a fluid offense. When Miller's the lead dog, he's out there with g-leaguer's, Micic, Martin, Big Nick, Miles (who doesn't pass to him), and TJ. Plus, how much should Miller work on his driving when Lee said he wants Miller to just take mostly threes? He was the #2 pick in an incredible draft class and has been relegated to corner shooter so Melo and Miles can play hero ball. He can't be happy with his role. He plays hard, plays the right way, and good defense against the 1st or 2nd best perimeter and wing players every night. He's dealing with lazy stat hungry teammates, apparently no shooting coach, and a coach who knows nothing about offense outside of jacking up 3s. Not to mention he's been hurt half of the season. Absolutely brutal takes on Miller. It seems like a lot of people are just watching the highlights and forming opinions, tbh.
Maybe you’ll are seeing something different than I am but when watching the game I see we are forcing him to shot 3’s when he likes shooting mid range. There seems like a Lamelo bias a lot. Lamelo plays trash defense most of the time and takes erratic 3’s with no one under the boards. You can tell even the coach doesn’t like it just his hands are tied because it’s Lamelo but we won’t be a winning team until Lamelo changes his approach to more of a winning mindset.
BMill must have listened to the hype, last year. I actually hope that he did not take last offseason seriously, because his major deficiencies (ball handling and body/strength) do not seem to have improved at all. I still love the kid/player/attitude/game/etc... , but potential is only that until the work brings it to fruition.
I tried to tell them that! Respected vets on this team would go a long way. But, I can't sleep on flagg. I think he's going to be a special player. He was the best player on that usa u17 (ron holland, dj wagner) team when he was 15. The other pros raved about him at the Olympic practices over the summer. I just think in today's nba system he's going to be a certified assassin by his 3rd, 4th year.
Agreed. We would just miss the playin and people would just start talking about tanking and trading vets. We need to stop worrying about the draft and start worrying about making the playoffs
@samuelparker7280 Would you rather have a playoff run where we go out in the first round now, or build to a point they can do something in the playoffs? It's not a balance in the NBA, it's winning or losing. I don't want to build a losing atmosphere in Charlotte, but this draft is special. Tank this year, and then build to something somewhat respectable. This draft is to stacked at the top to ignore it. Even Ace Bailey would be a huge help to the team.
@ give me the playoff run. But, with a playoff run and subsequent first round knockout, we would lose our 1st round pick to the spurs as it goes to 2 2nd round picks after this year (hence why they were tanking earlier this year by holding out players, imo). I don't really want to lose that pick but if they do make a run they need to do everything to support the team in that run even if it means losing that pick. This team needs to know how it feels to make it to the playoffs ASAP. That 1st round spanking will build character. And, unfortunately, we can't afford to trust that when the front office decides to make a push to win after this year that they will be able to turn it on like that. I personally will take building culture over tanking for that 1st round pick anyday but I must admit the prize of flagg is very tempting.
Kris Middleton was the second best player on a championship team. Brandon would be lucky to achieve that comparison weird to act like that is a slight. But compared to Kris's first 2 years Brandon is playing allot better in his first 2
Sorry, but for a team with zero success in its history, I'm 100 percent taking the Championship. If we are destined to only win one, then I want to see it !!
Charlotte needs to stay on the Florida wave. Lots of young talent just like Tre Mann. Walter Clayton Jr is a bucket and can lead a second unit in the NBA
They talk about Paul George like he is a super star, he is not, he is barely a 20.7 PPG in his career, he had one MVp season with Indiana, and that is it. And then he had lots of highlight moments, but PG is not reliable, he is not a dog, mentally weak. When compared with Khris M, Khris has better FG, 3P and & FT percentages. So please you don’t want BMill to end up like PG, let him be him, but absolutely agreed that BMill has not shown the progress that we all thought, and he actually looked a bit lost when playing with lamelo, like he is deferring too much,
Cooper Flagg could be the Michael Jordan of Gordon Haywards if he goes to Utah.

Great show fellas ‼️

Has a Duke fan please get Cooper flag in the NBA draft he is a beast
Ace bailey is the same player as Brandon miller💀
Another day as a hornets fan....another day of dreaming of a day that will never come...we are in hell
we are in hell but im so used to it that im not even fazed. its just..."normal" and that really is the worst
@vincentseidle954 agree with you. We are all in the same boat :(

He needs to get his shooting percentage up fr I think he is a great player
Flagg turned 18 on Dec 21, 2024, fwiw.
You will think they will do a bit of research…. What a joke when they said 17 years 😂😂😂😂
I'm with David give me those mickey mouse ears. I just want to feel something.
Right I would rather be a raptors fan then a clippers fan
@samuelparker7280 or god forbid a sixers fan
Can we get a Salaun episode? Should he go to Greensboro? Has he shown enough flashes? How is his defense? etc...
it's probably going to be Ace Bailey. calling it now.
Liking me some AB.
LaMelo, Miller, Bailey trios is a franchise PG, SG, PF then we only need SF, C? Trade everyone for good Veterans?

With cooper, I‘d have him at the 4 with Melo at the Point and Baby AI at the 2 and Brandon at the 3
Cooper Flagg would not change much. You don’t really on a 18 years old to save you. You need to have veteran players and coach to change the culture.
IDK. Half these fans thought Tijiane Antetokounmpo was going to take us to the title this year 😂

WILL HORNETS ever realize its not a rookie(high draft pick) that can SAVE this team. 😑
Ace Bailey is like a copy of Brandon Miller
That's what I see. Longer BM. I'll take it.
Kris Middleton was the second best player on a championship team. Brandon would be lucky to achieve that comparison weird to act like that is a slight. But compared to Kris's first 2 years Brandon is playing allot better in his first 2
A starting lineup of Ball, Miller, Flagg, Salaün & Williams could be great!
Still think we need another guard. BM handles aren't anywhere near good enough, rt now.
I don't think I would complain too much about that lineup, though!
Salaun needs to learn how to finish at the basket 1st. His development is great, so if he's good enough to start next year, let him start.
@@lloydfarmerMiller is a sf too.... so a stable sg would be nice. Or if he's a guard, he's more catch and shoot.
Hornets sucks no matter who they draft
Sorry, but for a team with zero success in its history, I'm 100 percent taking the Championship. If we are destined to only win one, then I want to see it !!
They have changed his game! He likes shooting 2’s .. they are making him shoot more 3’s .. Lamelo hasn’t been awesome!
They don’t need cooper flag they need new defenders
The Charlotte Hornets wasted Miller's talent, a terrible coach, and incompatible teammates
He's only 2 years in.... tf r u talking about?
Charlotte needs to stay on the Florida wave. Lots of young talent just like Tre Mann. Walter Clayton Jr is a bucket and can lead a second unit in the NBA
Save yourself the heartbreak, we’re not getting the number 1 pick. Prepare worst case scenario always.
They talk about Paul George like he is a super star, he is not, he is barely a 20.7 PPG in his career, he had one MVp season with Indiana, and that is it. Draft talk already 😂😂😂 Y'all make the move to the Orlando Magic like I did. 😂😂😂 The Miles Bridges re-signing really opened my eyes 😂😂😂
Why would true hornets fans "make the move" to a different team?
If miles bridges getting signed to a team friendly deal was your deal breaker, then u were never a fan.
@EDubbz17 I went to my first Hornets game in 1991 stop playing with me
