Laura! I wanted you to know a little over a month ago my father died and two days later my brother died. I've had a very hard time dealing with this as you may imagine however your Channel has enabled me to find a little peace of mind. My father was an avid vegetable Gardener among many other things. Both of these men were the closest people in my life and life has not been the same. Not only have I enjoyed the distraction but I'm learning a lot and I'm excited about trying to do some things around the house that I've learned from you. Basically I wanted to say thank you. If you knew how much it means to have just a mild distraction for a few moments you know why I took the time to write this comment.
I am so sorry for your loss. I am so glad you are able to find some peace in Laura and Aaron’s videos, I certainly can understand how they would be soothing. Gardening is good for the soul.

I so enjoy your videos. They not only give me ideas but they give me moments of peace. My Mom was an avid flower grower and could make a dead stick grow. I also have that love for flowers and decorating and passed it on to my youngest son. His yard was amazing. We lost him to cancer two year’s ago and it’s been so hard to not be able to have him present. Seeing your enthusiasm and beautiful ideas brings me joy and peace.
My husband and I watch you w/our coffee most mornings. We watched the Urn planting, then also went back to an older video, probably 3-4 yrs old? You were helping get ready for a Christmas Open House the Garden Store including a large chalkboard design hanging in front of the store. It said Merry Christmas w/some round ornaments.Your freehand is amazing, my husband has been in the sign business for 50 years, of course now it's large format printers and vinyl lettering, but in the beginning all sign guys learned many different letter-styles and painted by hand. He was very impressed with that sign, we stopped the video on the chalkboard design hanging up high inside, it was wonderful! What a multi talent you are.
Aaron, you make your wife shine! Just like it takes a good sound man to make a musician shine, you’ve definitely got this my friend. 👍. Also what makes a beautiful piece of art stand out is the frame, those pots make your arrangement all the more beautiful! I never tire of your videos. Such talent from both of you. It’s amazing how far the smoke has reached , were in Stayton just 7 miles from where all the fires were. My husband grandmother who is a garden answer lover as well, he house managed to survive but building just three doors down, burn to the ground. I cannot tell you how insane it was, 10 o’clock and it was still pitch black outside. However we have seen blue skies for 3 days this week. The rains have been a blessing!

Wow, I can't believe all of you wonderful people and your support. I am amazed how supportive strangers can be while some family members selfishly get nosy about who's left what to whom. When it's hard just find a place to settle your mind I highly recommend this channel. I don't think I could watch a comedy, I don't want to hear music, I don't want to watch a drama, but learning to grow better and bigger and more has been inspiring and even Pleasant. Dad was an avid vegetable gardener. I want to keep his Rosemary shrub and get some cuttings for my nephews and niece. I wonder if there's a way to keep his Italian basil going? Each time I remove a plant from one of my containers, I smile since the soil is no longer in a generous amount. Father uses the soil to form more roots. Thank you for sharing.
Laura: "This is not a deep container" Also Laura Proceeds to add more plants than a lot of people garden's LOL We bought a house this January due to all that has been happening I still dont have my beds ready for me to start adding to it! But it seems that before xmas it will be done! Back garden was mostly gravel and decking, it is now patio and grass. Having parts of the grass removed so I can create some plants beds. Front garden is gravel with just one tree. keeping the tree but taking out the gravel and adding soil etc ready for plants to go in! Laura is my inspiration! Thank you

This year I grew mini gourds and corn for fall decorating, all because of your inspiration. It was so fun, even my 20 something's started looking for gourds on the vines. I didn't realize how big the urns were until you put that kale in. All these years and I just realized proportion. Nice to have a great size!!

These fall containers are my fave so far! I love how the pink throats of the ornamental cabbage play with the bright orange violas and yellow mums.
Love the corn stock and Ornamental Kale combination! Could have even stopped with just that! The final result with the pops of color was very nice! 😊

OH MY GOODNESS! I feel like I keep saying “This is my favorite planting/centerpiece.” But this truly is...so far🙂 Love everything you put together and how you do it. I’m a bit of a neat freak myself.
