@@KhasrouhRecords He is correct. PA Edition of Gig Performer with its subscription of MEGA, you can only run plugin from PA in your GP. But there is an option to unlock it. You just have to pay $99. You are still subscribed to PA but able to use any plugins from othe company. And PLEASE, if someone is trying to answer your question, correct your attitude. THANKS. BY THE WAY, AGAIN, HE IS CORRECT.
@@woodyoulove-reynaldguibone6890 i was not talking about the subscription . I waa talking about the difference PA and The Official one from gig performer website. He didn't mention the unlocked version!! He should have said it. so i corrected him by saying there is an unlocked version not just the subscription .
Wish the mixer stuff was built into each block. Also i wish the blocks had a way to allow spill for delay and reverbs, you can get around it and make it work but its clunky
Let me see if I understand this correctly besides playing live can I say record drums to music i have already recorded with close to zero latency without the good ol clicks and pops that go along with using a 128 sample rate?
Tried this for an afternoon, about 5 hours. My observations: ***Pros: Super customizable. The unlocked version can handle whatever VST effects and instruments you throw at it. For a live setting, this could be super. ***Cons: I tried this on a 64-bit laptop with a simple Windows install with no extra software. Not a great laptop, but still a good solid one. I ran an electric guitar and acoustic through it with just an EQ and a verb. It sounded fantastic at first, but latency issues arose after a minute or so, even when dialing back the samples settings to the lowest settings. It also crashed about 6 times. ***Summary: As a 35-year pro, this has huge potential, but without a newer laptop, I can't see depending on it for real world use, yet. Perhaps with V4 the stability and growing latency issues will be addressed. Really hoping this proves to be a working tool. ***Missing: A feature for a footswitch to cycle between racks. It simply won't work to switch settings mid-song for a solo and have to stop playing with one hand to fiddle with the laptop and hope I get the setting in less than 1/2 second every time.
Looks great! 🙂 Is it possible to create and save «performances» on one computer (say my home computer) and load on another computer (the one I’m using live), provided that I have the same plugins installed on both?
Sure -- but depending on what instrument you play, if you have different configurations (e.g, one keyboard at home and a completely different one for your live system or if you're using a different MIDI pedal boards on each system), you'll need to use the Rig Manager to parameterize your controls to account for different MIDI interfaces, different CC messages and so on.
Hey Guys. Anyone know how to change the order of Rackspaces? Dragging them in a different order doesn't seem to actually change their number, so when I use midi to more to the next patch, it sticks to the number they were made it. Thanks in advance for any help.
Thank you so much for partnering with GP. I really like GP because it's useful for live performance. But it's not like mainstage that it has already a virtual instruments. But now because of this partnership and a subscription base, because I don't have funds for now, I will be able to use it in live. Surely will subscribe after my 14 days trial. Just one thing. I notice that most of the plugins are for the guitarist, bassist and drummer. I am a keyboard player. I don't have keyboard for now that produce sound. I only have midi keyboard controller. Is there a chance that you would update the plugin for keys players? I can use thorn and LION but for synth only. Maybe you could add a basic piano sound or grand piano or electric piano. THANKS
Lovin my Gig Performer 3. Very cool stuff. You can use all the Plugins without opening a DAW. Very cool! Imagination is the limit!
what is the difference between the Plugin Alliance Edition and the Standard edition from gig performer website ?
Plugin Alliance Edition only allows you to use Plugin Alliance plugins
@@joshmontederamos4813 no . I bought it and i can use any plug-in i want . If you don't know the answer please don't type wrong information.

You probably answered your question dude. You said you xan use Third Party Plugins. Means, you purchase the unlock version! Lmao.

That's just stupid marketing, it all depends on your CPU & Soundcard...

I'm not sure you set it up right as it claims there is very very low CPU usage and almost no latency. Works great and runs that way on my iMac.
Works on my Old Lenovo 510 14ISK i7 6th gen with 8GB ram only. Works fine and smooth. No latency at all. Even Hours used.
Windows my friend. That's your problem

Or you buy the unlock version and use othe non PA Alliance plugins in it. E.g. Arturia or Komplete plugins.
There is an audible volume jump when switching between patches! Have you solved this problem yet????

Too complcated for live use. Need to simplify this to make this more user friendly. Dont have time to do all this junk!
