Hello. Looks like no one talked about the Diana's career or musical knowledge, so I'm going to: Diana Navarro is a great Spanish singer who started in some of our traditional music styles, like flamenco and copla.
Flamenco has more than 320 different styles, and she's a master in one of the most difficult ones: the "Saeta". This one is only voice, without any help than your knowledge and the strength of your voice. She started to sing in her childhood and she can hold a note 32 seconds, but you know, it's hard and too much exigency for the voice, so she don't do that usually.
She studied in a copla academy. In this other music tradition, you don't only to learn about music, you must to learn also to been an actress or actor, and much more things, because copla is very theatrical and a complete show. If you can't share the istory behind the lyrics with the public, you will never been a good singer under the copla rules.
Well, with all this, she started her career in 2005, and she had a great successful. She sing a lot of music styles, since traditional Spanish music to ballads, pop, classical, even jazz. She loves exploring the music world.
