The most angering part about this all: weasel, an animalistic creature that can’t speak was the most competent adult in this entire situation: The school staff lets a bunch of children play outside with no supervision. They leave the door to the back of the school open as well as the door to the highly flammable BOILER ROOM where there are literal MATCHES within the reach of a child. The teacher has alcohol in his desk and who tf designed the school? Why are there no fences around the play area separating it from a wholeass FOREST. If something actually dangerous happened upon the children like a bear… well I’m sure I don’t need to go on. Then there’s the gunman. Why does he live in a creepy ass cabin so close to the school? Ok let’s assume he’s a groundskeeper (again, a school can have a groundskeeper but not fences, one more point to them). But dude ignores the obvious laughter and literally discharges his firearm in a room full of kids with a highly flammable boiler present. And perhaps the most maddening of all: the cops. Shoot repeatedly even with a child very clearly still alive (evidenced by the sounds she was making) in the line of fire and then Instead of helping a child about to be buried by flaming debris, choose to subdue a wounded animal who would not have gotten very far should they have focused on him second. Weasel isn’t a monster. These adults are.
You realize it was all written this way, though, right? Almost like it was all stupidly contrived just so we can see kids tragically perish and an innocent humanoid animal traumatized. For the purposes of emotional effect and to make us hate cops and rural guys with guns.
Thank you for writing this, this may be fictional, but the incompetence of the adults hits so hard. Weasel and the children didn’t deserve what happened to them
I know, right? I understand the misunderstandings of the old man and the cops, but that doesn't excuse them acting so recklessly. The cops ignoring the little girl as she's buried in burning rubble was the worst, especially since there were two of them. One of them could have restrained Weasel while the other rescued the girl. And if she had survived, she would have told everyone what really happened.
This is why adults don't understand. Like kids do. We should be responsible for raising, and keeping them safe from harm. We as adults lead a better example to kids, so they don't do stupid stuff like these careless groundskeeper did.

2:38 Weasel INSTANTLY understood that an explosion was about to happen and tried to shield the nearest kid. He's way more aware of how the world works than he wants us to think.

They couldn’t have ONE OF THEM focus on trying to save the little girl? They BOTH had to immediately jump Weasel?
The reason why the police didn't try to save the little kid is probably because of the fire, the whole place is blazing with heat which can causes their eyes to go watery, hence blurred their visions and the only thing they could see through that fire is an abnormal hairy figure.
Him and GI ( same for Nina but idk the backstory yet ) should not have been at that prison, if they taught weasel how to write he could probably reveal the truth of what really happened
This is why James Gunn is suited for this. He's a best storyteller, and he understands his characters so much here. I feel so angry when that stupid groundskeeper cause the explosion. @andebrown3800 just watched all four episodes. Saw how weasel didn't really attack anyone but the girl who attacked the princess and they got a long. Weasel may not remember her since she is grown but I swear the girl knows weasel without showing it
If I had a nickel for every time James Gunn made me teary-eyed over walking or talking animals, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird it happened twice.
Damn. The cops didn't even attempt to help the kids. One could have started ti help the kids in the basement or when weasel was pinned, the ither could have got to the girl before everything fell. The old man too, you know what they say about the road to hell
That the whole world accused him that he killed 27th children, but he was actually playing with them. It's pretty much the adults sees him a wild animal, while the children sees him like some sort of puppyman. But all this time he was actually trying to save one of them. But those damn polices officers shot that poor creature that he has a living girl, and took him away and not realizing there's a girl who's she incredibly injured and needed help but they didn't help her. This world is so damn cruel
Well this is more than what he originally had... Literally at the time being a weirdo in his extremely detailed Fursuit going up against Firestorm the Nuclear Man (Only to get his ass killed later in a random issue of Suicide Squad). I'm unsure if he had been retconed into being a full on Furry Villain (Anthro Weasel) at that point or if he was still a guy in a suit whom sort-of just lost it.
Weasel: SHUT UUUPPPP!!!! The Crew: What the?! Weasel? Weasel: ENOUGH! All of you! Do you have any idea what it’s like to be called a monster when you’re innocent? every time I go to sleep, I have that same memory over and over again. Being friends with those kids who saw me as their friend, who didn’t see me as a monster. until that old man later at night started shooting at me; Causing the gasoline to spill onto towards the fire; killing himself and those kids in the blast. I tried to save that one little girl because she saw the goodness in me but I failed. those coppers shot me, grabbed me, and let that little girl Stayed Trapped underneath that rumble and those flames. They were so focused on trying to get rid of me instead of saving that little girl’s life. *starts crying* if only I had the chance to save her, things would’ve been different. *gets angry and starts trashing the room in tears, eventually stopping and falls to his knees trying to cover himself from the outside world to be alone*
It was very stupid, to blame the Weasel for everything. Plot hole had became obvious: 1) Why isn't there any school staff in duty, to look after the kids and who left the door open? 2) Shouldn't kids are taught, how dangerous the fires are, and they didn't bother at all? 3) That local man didn't think before releasing the trigger, that there's a gas tank at the basement.
~flashback in his nightmares 2:51~ Weasel: Ow...my head...it hurts...(watched) Kids..? Kids!? Oh god, oh god they're dead...they're dead.. Those cops didn’t clearly see the little girl ahead of weasel they just see him as a monster and drag him out of there but didn’t even care about the fact about the kids were there sure they were gone but clearly there was one kid alive
You know i feel really sorry weasel he wasn't a villain or a monster he was just a deformed man who only wanted to make friends and he didn't really killed those kids it was an accident all because the police and that man mistaked him for attacking those kids because of the way he looked
We don’t know if he was once a human or some sort of mutation. All we know is that he’s innocent for the crimes he was accused of. Weasel just wanted to have fun playing with his new friends
@@SteVen-cr3bx John Monroe, Weasel's comic version (whose name, funnily enough, is actually VERY similar to John Doe, the name thoughtlessly given to the DCU's Weasel by his lawyer) was a bullied university student turned fursuit wearing serial killer. James Gunn. WHY?! Why do you have to always break our heart?! First was Star-Lord’s losses, then Groot I’s death, then Yondu’s death, then Peacemaker’s backstory, then Rocket’s backstory, then GI’s death, and NOW THIS! Couldn’t your writing be at least more depressing than this?! 😭😭😭
I feel kinda bad for the old guy. He seems like he was just trying to help
The police though thats different
Sad as Rocket
anyone else feel like the blond kid looks like the princess? havent watched the show myself but ive seen clips and they look real similar with same haircuts to
Third person to say that.
@andebrown3800 just watched all four episodes. Saw how weasel didn't really attack anyone but the girl who attacked the princess and they got a long. Weasel may not remember her since she is grown but I swear the girl knows weasel without showing it
@@aligancelive6765oh maybe they both got similar apper
I hope they find the truth with him
If I had a nickel for every time James Gunn made me teary-eyed over walking or talking animals, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird it happened twice.
Well, least it wasn't 27 kids. Like the comic's say
Damn. The cops didn't even attempt to help the kids. One could have started ti help the kids in the basement or when weasel was pinned, the ither could have got to the girl before everything fell. The old man too, you know what they say about the road to hell
what is the song name?
You putting alot of effort to wrote this but it kinda sound cringe to me. No offense btw
@ understandable because, I couldn’t think of anything that would match the tone of the show and be more impactful outside of weasel’s flashbacks.
Weasel is innocent!!
THE COPS ARE THE ONES THAT KILLED THOSE CHILDREN, NOT WEASEL!
0:37 You adorably childrens should never ever have done what you have done on yourselves. 😔 😰 🥺 😥
Those cops were dumb asses, who shoots a gun at a hostage
They thought the girl was dead so yeah it still stupud for them to shoot first question later.
Masha: Where were you rescue them...?
Weasel: I was failed rescue my little girl..
(He shed his tears..)
4:20
It was very stupid, to blame the Weasel for everything.
Plot hole had became obvious:
1) Why isn't there any school staff in duty, to look after the kids and who left the door open?
2) Shouldn't kids are taught, how dangerous the fires are, and they didn't bother at all?
3) That local man didn't think before releasing the trigger, that there's a gas tank at the basement.
These are the questions. And they’ve all been answered.
Negligence..😑😔
If you see, what people of the past done to the herbalist womans, you will understand. It's not too far fetched.
BESTEST 👌 👍 QUESTIONS EVER! 😇 😊 🥹 😅
~flashback in his nightmares 2:51~
Weasel: Ow...my head...it hurts...(watched) Kids..? Kids!? Oh god, oh god they're dead...they're dead..
(he sniff and looked in worry and sad where dead kids in fire)
Weasel: N-no..oh fluck no no no..(he watched little girl is crying where sat on wall) baby-?..ah!
My Baby! (he jump in determinated)...My baby, hang on sweetie...(he rescue little girl, and hug) Shh, it's ok..
Police: where did it go!?
(they caught Weasel dragged the girl from: now it run and run away.)
Police: Stop, police!
(shooting in guns ammos, and Weasel dragged girl's shirt and running and escaped from school, and he failed rescue girl, aressted and took away: he had injuried of ammo: 4:19)
Weasel: OW! Aghhh! Owch, ow!!......ow, my fur body.. N-NO! MY LOLI!! NOOO! AAHHHHH!!!! AH, AGHHHH!!! MY BABYYY!! PLEASE, DON'T DIE! PLEEAAAAAAAAASSEEEEEE!!!😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

#justiceforweasel
No Wonder He was so friendly to the Princess since She looks like the Little Girl. :(
Where the hell are these kid's parents?
It was an accident...It was just an accident.😢😢
And people think Gunn ain't a better weiter than Zack 'Rebel Moon' Snyder? I Like Snyder, seems to be a nice dude. But this is another level. DC will be fine
I want to hug weasel I feel bad for a him poor little guy😢 the old guy he was it bad but he did a mistake of think weasel was a monster weasel a hero
Jesus that is sad it reminds me of heart of a dog a lovley animal who wanted to do good but sadly was demmed monstrous
Can someone explain me his fully backstory and like was he likely a originally human who get experiment to turn into the weasel
We don’t know if he was once a human or some sort of mutation. All we know is that he’s innocent for the crimes he was accused of. Weasel just wanted to have fun playing with his new friends
@@shadowofdread7018 dose the comics explained his backstory
@@SteVen-cr3bx
I’m not sure. He’s an obscure character
After his failed murder attempt on his past colleague, Martin Stein (who turned out to be the superhero Firestorm), he was imprisoned at Belle Reve until eventually getting recruited into The Suicide Squad. He died during his first and only mission, where he was killed by Rick Flag Jr., who at the time was being mind controlled by The Thinker.
I've been saying since tss that he did mot kill those kids
Stupid bastards. Weasel was trying 2 save the girl. If you had braincells you would have tried to rescue her instead of attacking her friend!
Holy shit
check it, the single most accurate depiction of cops I think I've seen in media.
Is there a track name to this. I think it’s Clint Mansell but that’s all I could
Find
Kaizers Orchestra - Hjerteknuser this is the song at the end.
Does anyone know the background score name
Soundtrack ?😊
Kaizers Orchestra - Hjerteknuser
@@kaiserxblue Not that song but the score that was played through the entire scene.
I tried looking it up but cannot find it
Honestly? I can imagine American police officers behaving this way. They are hiring too many people with itchy trigger fingers nowadays.
Can I just say if there’s any DC villain who would understand weasel‘s feelings and his past and would give him a comfort hug 🫂 I would choose kiteman from the show
I just want the song playing. Can anyone find out what song is playing??
Kaizers Orchestra - Hjerteknuser
I think it is dumb to shoot at weasel while he is holding a child you could accidentally shoot the kid
How could those cops just let that sweet little girl behind like that?!?
Because of how incompetent real-life cops can be.
@@Juanhernandez-zx7kt FR. I've seen people react to this scene and basically everybody just accepted that cops really just shoot first and ask questions later.
So it was all the black kids fault for playing with matches ?😮
David Kaye..
This bothers me so much because police would not be shooting at a child while in a fire... terrible writing do better James Gunn.
Po pos like Forget the kids kill the weasel😂
James Gunn.is still trash for ruining Scrappy Doo.
This is terrible 😂. 2024 the year of cringe.
Next time I watch suicide squad film and they say he murdered 27 children I look at him differently now
His tragedy may come from the human problem of judging the book by its cover as they judged and attempted to kill Weasel because they thought to be a monster trying to kill or harm children but it was just trying to make friends.
