I think other countries should follow the ban-a-platform model. FB, Google, Amazon et al should be made to sell their regional access to the regions in question or GTFU. Why should other countries enrich Murcan platforms? Why should those platforms capture and control other nations' data streams?
Edit: I say this with full knowledge that Tiktok is in no way controlled by the CPC and, in fact, has nothing to do with China. UNLIKE FB-Amazon-Google, which totally do sell users' data. I say it from the perspective of 'good for the goose'
