Clearing New Pasture and Harvesting Firewood

Located in the woods of New Hampshire, the second most wooded state in the country to our neighbor, Maine, we have an abundance of trees...
We are doing a bit of clearing of small trees (firewood) in an area on our property that is going to expand our pastures for the animals. There are several very large trees that you can tell were formerly field trees, and that at one point a couple hundred years ago, this part of the land was likely used for sheep or goats.
