Take two on Electrify America DC charging reliability. EA's 350kw upgrades are about a year old now and after a resent LW software download a charging session on EA's 350kw unit went great and event free. Today I test it in the wild at different stations in the region. Feeling positve.
@@michelfortin7055yes, but if you use a 10-gauge or 12-gauge, you can. I use one on a 100ft extension cable. Anything more is not recommended as the voltage drops with distance
I wonder if the model sold in France comes with a European socket (type 2, aka "Mennekes"). I own a 2015 Zero, there was an option for faster AC charging, but I didn't take take it since it came with a US socket (type 1, aka J1772) on the bike, which requires an adapter if you want to use a station with attached cable, such as the one I have at home.
Is it possible to plug the motorcycle and postpone the charging : in France the cost of electricity varies during the day, it is cheaper from 22PM to 6AM. Is it possible to set the bike to charge only during this period?
Hi Yann. The LiveWire One does not have this feature built in. A popular way to do this is using a smart charger that can be programmed to turn off and on during the day as you choose.
Thank you for your prompt reply. 👍 A HomeKit plug will be a good workaround in my case, I guess… but if this feature can be added in future, it will be amazing!
What is the future of Tesla Supercharger (with adapter) compatibility?

Two charges on new Electrify America 350kw charges went great!
How do you stop DC charging session on the LiveWire One?
Is it possible to get a tiny charge with a solar panel and inverter?
What about extention cords? Are they a problem for the electronics?
The manual states that you should not use an extension cord.

Does this still only charge at wall speeds if plugged into a Type 2 charger?
Yes, it steps down to Level 1.
Sadly. Wish they had an accessory to bump up level 2 charging speed. Energicas have 3kw on lvl 2.
@@LiveWireEV Thank You for your reply. Can you tell us why Level 2 functionality is not available?
What about L2 charger?

Really wished it used NACS instead of CSS.
