Hi James, you might want to have a look at the Kingsbury MS4 Regiment field watch. Much better specs (NH38, 200 m WR) for a ridiculously low price of 189 USD. Very good looking too.

You might like to have a look at Vertex watches, one of the original makers of the Dirty Dozen, and still a family owned British company to this day. Their M100 is their Dirty Dozen homage, but their MP45 single pusher Chrono looks very interesting too
I’m a big fan of their watches. Their recent M100 is amazing. But out of my price range at the moment.
It is on my list however. 🤞they drop in price on the used market and I can grab a bargain.
Praesidus should have used an NH38 (no date complication) instead of an NH35 (ghost date).

It has become one of my go to watches.
"A good, dependable SEIKO movement" at +10 to +15 seconds per day...too bad you can't count on that when you buy a SEIKO. Altogether a great video, James!
It is a shame that Seiko don’t put a touch more effort into their watches.
But I still love them.

If this watch were hand wound instead of automatic, I'd buy it. Similarly, I also really like their other A11 model with a coin-edged bezel and hand-wound movement; unfortunately, that model, unlike this one, has a plexiglass crystal instead of sapphire - for me, that's a big drawback and means I won't buy it.
If it was hand wound I would like it even more
I would not pay that !
