I saw Creed Thanksgiving Day 2001 at the old Texas Stadium in Irving during the halftime show between the Cowboys and Broncos. When they played "Higher" they released about 50 white doves and a boatload of balloons, was epic.

So there's an 8 year gap between their albums "Weathered" and "Full Circle."
Scott Stapp has struggled with alcoholism and some bipolar issues.
"Full Circle" is most likely their last album with Mark doing his band Tremonti and Alter Bridge about to release their 7th album soon.
I highly recommend watching their Full Circle reunion show. It's very good!
The reunion shows sadly had stapp with a shot voice. The voice unfortunately wasn't there, he seems to be getting back some of it lately though
@@roosterguitars4034 Scott and the guys are friends again so hopefully a reunion COULD happen after the new AB album comes out. I was hoping sooner than later but Scott's last solo album is just so damn good.

Scott has a great voice. Even when Creed took a break, before the got back together for I think Full Circle.. Scott had his own album. Great band.

This is my fav Creed song. It just hits so hard, loving Howard Benton's production, and Scott's lyrics are so relatable to anyone really going through it.

I've always loved Creed
Alot of, if not all, the backing vocals for Creed are done by Mark Tremonti. This whole album is absolutely amazing and has inspired me to start thinking about starting a Creed cover/tribute band. I really believe the market can be quite big for such a band, especially given I live less than 90 minutes from Nashville.

Devin, as I've commented on some of your other Creed reaction videos, I love Creed and I love this song..... To me, I think Scott Stapp is saying that he, along with most everyone else, wears masks metaphorically. We all act differently around different people, of course, so therefore we put on our "masks". However, I do agree that Scott is saying that he had to considered his past, learn from his mistakes and move forward, but at the same time, leave the past behind so that he could be a better man. Hence the lyrics, "How is stepping back a move forward?" By the way, God bless you and yours, Devin!

I love this song. I feel it so hard to my soul. I used to listen to creed and then I switched to country, however I may have to mix some creed in there. I to was saying something similar to this song a few months ago about how I was depressed about my past. The very first reply to my post was the only one I needed and I know it was from the Holy Spirit. This guy replied and said “Luke 17:32” that was literally it. And it was all I needed to hear. For those that don’t know what this scripture says, it says Remember Lots wife. If you don’t know the store of Lot and Saddom and Gamora I encourage you to read it.
I saw Scott Stapp back in 2014. He was pushing a contemporary Christian album. Was a great show and even snuck in some Creed tunes

They actually aren't anymore. Scott Stapp is doing his own thing now. Full Circle was the last Album they released as Creed back in 2009.

I was deeply saddened when Creed slowly faded away.
When I learned my wife was pregnant with my first daughter I would put headphones on her stomach and play “With Arms Wide Open” and sing to her. I had it set to play in the truck so it would be the very first song she heard.
In 41 days she will be leaving for A&M and it will be the song I play as I drive away! As a father it’s going to suck and rip my heart out as she begins her life without me and her mom! 18 years have flown and music has always been one of the things we used and bonded with!
Not really the type of music i care for but lyrically i like what was said , and i like those verses 👍👍
