I have a 2009 diesel. I was recently undertaken at around 20-25 mph and the third party driver ran into the front of my car and scraped their car down my left wheel arch. The damage on their car which was a smallish vehicle was horrendously dented and scratched. The damage on mine was a few minor scuffs which will buff out easily. Good ol' Volvo!
I bought it second time. My first C30 was 2012 2.0 petrol 70k miles, SE LUX with red leather. Now I have 2011, the same engine 2.0 petrol, 80k miles but R-DESIGN version with black leather. Love this car. It's unique, solid, you feel special in it. T5 it's the best option, but to find something good with low mileage cost you min 10k pounds (so almost double price).
@@WparuSlowach I didn't hesitate with the build quality and its looks they get alot of attention because you hardly see them, there's only 485 r-designs in the UK. Its going to be a classic in years to come, the t5s are even more rare. Id pay ten G for a t5 if it was in good condition its worth it 👌

Just bought one, just because they look quirky are quite rare and well built.

@@tucosalamanca5194 Totally agree with you. Currently I am refreshing my C30 to get as close to "new" condition.
Was this petrol or diesel? I test drove a petrol with this spec and the power was very underwhelming, hoping this was a dud engine or something.
Petrol. Underwhelming? Depends what your used to, if your used to a car with a turbo for example you will be Underwhelmed
