I learned to stop on the ice using the "pizza slice" method, where you bend your knees and turn your feet slightly inward. Once I got comfortable with that, I practiced using only one foot at a time (it's important to learn with both). Finally, as my edge control improved, I started using both feet simultaneously, digging my inside edges into the ice.
Blau was such a great teacher! I’ve never even seen snow in my life but I’ll be using these tips when I go ice skating
