Ayyeee! Get it! Thanks for the inspiration. I was ready to shell out $100+ for a frame and here you made it look like a cake walk. I'm headed out to pick up everything soon!
On my way out the door but a video comes up from Treshaja and nope I'm not going out till I've watched it 😂. Such a great idea. Thanks again Treshaja. As always love from Ireland 🍀💚 Kelly x
Great video! Will you also show how to make a bevel cut, like the type you'd see in a chair rail. That gives extra character to the frame. So that it's not so bluntly cut there are rounded edges.
I don’t know if anyone has mentioned it yet but, if you put some (a dab will do) wood glue on the seams and lightly sand the areas with 220 grit sand paper it will conceal the seams better and cheaper👍🏻 Good video though!
I found that you get more even cuts if you cut all the miters on the same angle. Rather than flipping the miter saw to the other 45 degrees, I flip the wood so I'm always cutting the miter from the left side of the saw. I've found that the 45 degrees is not an exact match when you use both sides of the frame.
You are an answer to prayer ... for real. Yes! I want to know how to use the miter saw. I have a framed art piece that has a very nice “print” but the original frame was missing something. I repainted it to bring out colors in print but it still needs something more ...I want to DIY it. Any ideas to embellished a plain frame?
Hi, I would really like to have glass in my frame- would you be able to instruct us in how to do so? Also, I really don’t have any power tools, so do you think a hardware store/home hardware would be amenable to cutting appropriately sized glass? Thanks for whatever advice you have to offer!
Your work is very professional! 👌🏻My husband has a miter saw. I tend to shrink away from power tools, but you make it look so easy, I may give it a try. 😊 I recently took the plunge and used acrylics to paint a family portrait for the first time (learned tips off other UA-camrs 😃). Would love to frame the canvas before gifting it to my dad (it’s of him with our young daughters). . 😅 TfS 💗
I was too at first but I made myself buy a used one to get comfortable with using one and I am proud to say it doesn't intimidate me anymore! Just get one AND GO FOR IT!
You have significant tear out on your cuts. Try a zero clearance plate on your Mitre Saw. It will stop the ugly tear outs on your mitres, costs nothing and takes about 30 seconds to make.
GREAT video! Wonderful pacing and I learned a few new tricks. Like others would love to know how you hang pictures/mount them in these frames. #subscribed
I appreciate the video and learned, but only how to make the FRONT of a normal frame. What you built will not serve as a picture frame. No glass, no mat, no backing, no "ledge" piece.
This would not work for your object that you were trying to frame. You cannot make the inside 18x24 which is the same size as the object. There needs to be lip to overlap the object so that you can set it inside the frame.
I think you forgot the most important step, how to install the canvas inside of the frame. I hope you can upload another video to show as how you do it . Thanks
I truly think you are one of the best and most creative woman diy-ers ? on youtube. I always enjoy your content.
Great video!!! I'm interested in seeing how you mount a picture in the frame and using a miter box.
Ayyeee! Get it! Thanks for the inspiration. I was ready to shell out $100+ for a frame and here you made it look like a cake walk. I'm headed out to pick up everything soon!
You’re welcome! Those frames are so expensive.
Thank you. This video was very helpful, very easy to understand, and has made me feel more at ease about my framing project.
You make it look easy. The sign of a good teacher, I think.

Miter boxes make things so much easier!
Definitely!

Wow, you made it look real easy! 👏
It’s def cheaper to buy the frame. But this is cool if you want to take the time to do it on your own. And have the time
What's the name of that red box you used to hold the angled boards together before you stapled them?
It’s a corner clamp
Thank you for your video. Absolutely informative. You definitely deliver. You got a new follower here. Looking forward to more content.
Girl you made that look so simple I think I can do it... let me find out lol. I'ma report back. Headed to the garage now lol

Lowe's will cut glass to custom sizes for you. It end up being a pretty affordable solution.

I would love to know how to use the miter box. I don't know how!
Thanks for the video, but how do you mount your work?
You're welcome! I use a picture hanging kit.
How would a piece a glass stay in this?
How do you mount them though?
What corner clamp is that?
My daughter passed away a couple months ago and someone made me a blanket and i want to make a frame for it. The blanket measures 50x60
What about the rabbets?
How to use the saw video please. Great job 👍
Can you please share the name of the clamp you use, I didn't see it in your Amazon shop.
Where did you get the angled clamp?
New subscriber love your video
Blessing
Very good video! I didn't know they made a corner clamp like that. Do you add glass or plastic to the frame?
Thank you! Both would work. I’d probably go with plexiglass
I am still not confident using a miter saw 😥. I do need help, lol
I was too at first but I made myself buy a used one to get comfortable with using one and I am proud to say it doesn't intimidate me anymore! Just get one AND GO FOR IT!
What is that name of miter clamp?
Can you order those wood precut at Home Depot?

@@treshaja a million thanks. : )
01:17 I'm interested about its skills 🙏🏻
wheres the glass to protect the picture?
Picture frame isn't complete until you make a backing plate for it
You have significant tear out on your cuts. Try a zero clearance plate on your Mitre Saw. It will stop the ugly tear outs on your mitres, costs nothing and takes about 30 seconds to make.
Thanks for the tip!
I'd do this if I have materials and if I'm older than 17
👍 💕 TFS

Hey guys! If you would like to know how to cut wood using a $20 Miter box and saw, here's the video on that - ua-cam.com/video/32nYLwtf3ys/v-deo.html
Buy it better. Too many instruments involved🤣
U r awesome thank you so much for this
You're welcome 😊
I drop everything and get my coffee cup when you post! Once again...GENIUS! 😁🙃
Aww, thank you! Have a wonderful day. 😊
Great video. I will be watching it again. But how does your canvas stay inside the frame and not fall through?
Please do a video of miter box saw. I have a project that I will using one
Bro I just want a frame for my huge 48x70 inch movie poster. I don’t got all these fancy tools WHAT DO I DO I’M ONLY 17

How do I insert glass/plastic for the frame
I think you forgot the most important step, how to install the canvas inside of the frame. I hope you can upload another video to show as how you do it . Thanks
You use a lot of equipment that most people don't have around the house
Great tutorial, thank you so much for sharing :)

magz :)
What is the name of the coloring?
You rock
Thank you!
Can you do a tutorial on how you use your miter saw?
Very nice. Found my next weekend project.
Hi! Do you have a link to the art work you made for the video?
Gurrrlll, you one bad sista!! So talented!!
An A3 size picture how much size does the glass is supposed to be mounted on the frame
Maybe 10” x 15”. But it depends on the thickness of your frame.
Great video, just what I was looking for, a simple basic frame that looks great !
Perfect.
@nic keenan whats the answer to number 1
