Good video man, I watched your video of Cartagena while i was myself in Cartagena for the first time, also solo, this was about 3 weeks ago, funny thing i also quit my job right before i went to colombia but already had a new job lined up as soon as i came back to the states (Denver Colorado), im originally from Portugal and speak perfect poruguese and also spanish, lived in Miami for many years before, im a big guy muscular 6ft 1 230lbs and street smart but never felt safe while I was in Cartagena specially at night, wasn’t trying to hook up with bitches im happily married with 2 kids and just wanted to visit the place always been curious about the country, im sorry for what happened to you i can see how a place like that with that kind of poverty and crime can be ruthless if you find yourself in the wrong place wrong time, my first night there, Saturday night got on a taxi and asked to be taken to boca grande and he told me would be 20k pesos, i stayed at the wyndham garden by the airport, damn taxi driver took me 30 minutes inland towards some really dodgy areas, no tourists there at all just drug dealers and hookers and took me to a scatchy looking strip club, when I realized what he did i told him to take be back to the hotel and not to worry i’d pay him extra, he took me back and then asked me for 100k pesos, i was very angry and gave him 50k but also lucky didn’t get stranded in the guetto late at night. Cartagena is not how the media advertise it, that place can get really rough.
It’s a tough job bro . If you’re not happy and you feel like you have something else in mind that would make you a lot happier then don’t be afraid to try it
Just do it bro. If your stuck then just set a goal for yourself, save up money, work extra hours and then when your in a good spot, you quit and try and pursue a job that you’ll be happier with. It’s worth it. Better than staying in the same miserable position
That’s farrrr . Wow crazy to think I have subscribers from there 🤣 and yea I have a chill life I can’t complain but people adapt to there situation which is when the boredom kicks in
From sunrise Florida I been traveling since 21. Lived in medellin for for 3 years. Man your place looks really nice I'm surprised u got such a nice since you might go back to colombia soon.
Nice you been living your best life 🤣🤣 and yea I have a nice place but I live with my two brothers so we split everything so it end up being pretty cheap
@@Irvingsworld1 ah makes sense cause i work armed security and have the same mind set as you, i can't do the same job more then 3 years, longest job i ever held was 3 years i moved to colombia 3 years ago but had to come back cause i lost like 90k in trading stocks, i'm moving back soon and wanna start a online business
@@Irvingsworld1 yea in colombia we are rich and successful, and people are just way more social and going out partying is very cheap for us, especially compared to miami. Here it's like you don't even exist, especially if you 40 good luck getting a hot latina here lol.
Thanks man yea I live with my twin brother and my older brother and we all have good jobs so that’s why we can have a place like this. Also when I moved to Colombia they basically took over the costs until I moved back
Wow that’s really cool 😎 Yes I left Cúcuta because my girlfriend is pregnant and the smarter thing to do was to come back to the United States and work my ass off until the baby is born. It’s honestly really hard to make money in Colombia. Colombia is good just for vacation and to have fun.
@@Irvingsworld1 thanks for explaining, i completely understand your dilemma, I love latam and keep going back and forth because of money. the only solution is entrepreneurship I think but also takes time to find the right fit. my girl is also venezuelan in colombia how are you thinking to be together? let's keep in touch if you want, i think we have a lot in common, love your energy and your videos. keep it going
Yea I think the best solution is to find ways to make passive income. And to answer your question about my girl, I plan on eventually moving her here to the U.s. but for now we have to keep it long distance. Yea man I’m always down to meet subscribers
Left my job as a mental health tech after 5 long years so I know what you deal with, found a much better job paying double what I was making but now it's getting old too. Really want to experience life living in another country and I think about it every day. I have some savings but first I wanna travel to a few different countries to feel out what's best for me. Currently planning on going to Colombia in end of August. Would you move back to Colombia, or do you feel like you would wanna try somewhere else? Watching from Melbourne, FL.
My suggestion would be do not move to Colombia. You can visit Colombia but living there I wouldn’t recommend. I would try a safer country. I hear Southeast Asia is really safe
Why do you say you have to go back to Colombia unfortunately. I was in Colombia for two years and recently came back to the USA and the truth is I can't wait to get back to Colombia. Life in the USA sucks man it's boring as hell. If someone has money to last there entire life Colombia is a way better life as a human being
Bro what kind of experience do you need to work in a psychiatric hospital in security like you do? I been doing Security for over 12 years your job looks like it pays good man. Any advice would be greatly appreciated 🙏🏽
You just need regular security experience but yea I got lucky that my old boss offered me a job back at this hospital because it’s the best psych hospital in the country and I got hired as a supervisor so I make considerablely more than I made when I quit my job.
Also to answer your other question, I live with my twin brother and my older brother and we split all our costs in the house which is why we can maintain having a nice place. We all have good jobs
Yea some advice I would give is move out of LA, come to the east coast, all the good security/hospital jobs are on this side. Specifically here in Boston we have a lot of the best hospitals
@marcuspeterson2789 I deleted it for other reasons. I wish people could know the details but I just don’t like putting my whole life out there. Some things just need to stay private
