The Construction of a Highly Detailed & Cozy LEGO Restaurant & Terrace. City Update #9

In this video I'll show you how I built this detailed restaurant. Inside the restaurant, there's a beautiful open kitchen, a bar, an computer for guests to pay and a lovely open entrance where visitors are welcomed.
Let's see how I constructed the restaurant. It's an old-fashioned building with lots of character. The old structure has been renovated, and the exterior is made of bricks and large glazed windows. This gives the building a charming modern look that fits well in the modern skyscraper city. The restaurant is located right next to the station square and has a terrace overlooking the market. This market build I'll showcase in my next update.
Let's take a moment to see how I built the exterior before we move on to the roof and the interior. We start by constructing the kitchen. In my next video, you'll see exactly how the different components were built. The restaurant consists of two different baseplates, each 32 by 32 studs, following the MILS rules, which makes the building modular. The roof is also removable with only a few attachment points. Because it's a renovated building, I decided to give the restaurant a green grass roof, creating a healthy environment for the residents of Skyscraper City.
Now that the roof is finished, let's continue with the interior of the restaurant. First, we add the white tiles where the kitchen will be placed. Then we prepare the structure for the bar, where the gast have a clear view into the kitchen. This is a common design feature in modern restaurants and adds a lot of atmosphere and experience. With this done, we place the elements in the kitchen, which include a stovetop, an oven, a sink, and cabinets with a countertop where the cooks can prepare meals. We add the first LEGO minifigures at the bar and in the kitchen and see how cool it looks! What do you think of the kitchen? Let me know in the comments.
The rest of the restaurant is finished with white tiles and features multiple tables where guests can enjoy a delightful drink and meal. Enjoy these beautiful shots before we move on to the terrace. Now, onto the terrace. Both the terrace and the market square are finished with blue-gray 1 by 1 studs tiles. Placing these tiles was quite a task, which is why I sped up the video by 20 times. Fun to watch, right? Next, we place the chairs and tables in their correct positions and add the minifigures, who are enjoying a drink and being served by the waiter. Finally, I created these cute round parasols to protect the guests from the sun. Wouldn't it be wonderful to sit on this terrace?
