For the birch tree thing, you could make a birch texture map by building a flat area that looks like birch and mapping it out.

I think *any* secret entrances would need to be blended in with their surroundings or else they wouldn't work. Like for example if it's floating in the air, a secret entrance would only be a hard to reach entrance
