It definitely kills them lmao, it makes them suffer all the pain of their sins and die…it only works on those that feel guilt for their sins though. Meaning as long as you don’t feel guilty for what you did his Penance stare has no effect on you

their souls are ripped from their bodies and sent to hell for torture even demon like black heart can suffer from this punishment, it also leaves their bodies in vegetative states from some of the newer comics, but I don't count that toward "Johnny Blaze" as the way we found out was from a "Roberto Reyes" comic so that lore was made WAY after johnny's character was made.
To me i think feel the victims pain for eternity is the same that be dead,because he dont mive or do anithing so he is part dead or if some people prefer he is dead

Now this could mean you don’t know enough about the characters individually and that’s fine, nothing the internet can’t help you with. It’s just when a gacha video shows separate reactions among characters, that’s when I think they shine.

The people in his eyes weren't sinners they were the people who got killed or hurt by the sinners. The losers club was refering to the people that were shown in the eyes of the ghost rider.
