with whats been said by every party; Jame being benched reeks of ultimatum. Seems very similar to the Nifty/EnVyUs situation where Nifty had full control of the roster. It seems to me like VP was faced with either benching Jame, or benching whoever Jame wanted gone (likely electronic).
Zontic is just trying to get blame off his back, he definitely picked the players (not his 1st choice obviously) he could have went and got some younger firepower to fill those rolls and try to trade when they get the players they want but he went with ppl that had "names" but where heading down hill career wise. Their is no way he went to this team where somone else was picking all his players dudes just trying to deflect blame. he picked a shitty team and they sucked he deserves half the blame easily
Zonic is finished.. and dare i say overrated... Don't get me wrong, he is a good coach with a stacked trophy cabinet, but we can't forget what teams he coached.. He's done great in Astralis and Vitality, but what coach wouldn't? I also think Zonic is missing the ability to turn good players into great players. He's been given everything he wanted since day 1, but now for the first time he had to adapt to players already signed by Falcons, and he couldn't manage to do that. That Falcons roster have players that have proven to be world class, and i think many couches could make it work. All i've seen from Zonic until now is the team taking massive L's and him roasting the shit out of one of his OWN PLAYERS (boros). The coach should be the most grounded member of the team, but in that clip he lost it all.. i feel like other elite coaches such as NEO, Kuben, XTQZZZ would take a totally different approach to that mistake. i don't think we will see Zonic in another tier 1 european team ever again, and i feel like he knows that himself, that's why he went to falcons for a easy ca$hgrab.
nah electronic has been horrible since he switched to IGl on NaVi, and hes just but horrible and underwhelming in general for like ever now like we still hold him up to high regards for his peak in 2016-2017?
