Hi, Folks. Benjamin Holt did NOT 'perfect' the track type tractor in 1904. He simply built the FIRST successful track type tractor way back then. If he had 'perfected' it, we would still be using his exact design today. There have been a LOTTTTTT of changes in track type tractors since then. Heck, even Ben made some changes to his designs, like powering them with gasoline engines instead of steam and designing them so that they didn't need the front tiller wheel for steering.
