Don't mean to sound like that smart man that knows everything in every UA-cam video comment section but I don't think putting grease on the balls in between the expander discs is a good idea. I'm guilty of having it done myself before until an old school mechanic who worked on zetor and ursus tractors down through the year's told me not to. Apparently when the brake discs start wearing the dust can stick to grease and seize the balls up. They are stuck in the grooves then and you're brakes are less effective or even non effective after a while. Made sense to me when I thought about it. Not trying to be an arse hole only sharing advice given to me. You're doing savage work tho. Can't wait to see her back up and running. Thanks for the videos. It's class to see an old crystal getting done up here in Ireland 👌
Ya I get what you mean I done a few before and was always told to use copper grease. I'd say your fuck if you do and fucked if you don't cos with no grease you will get surface rust and the ball won't roll it will just drag off one side. Either way they are just a poor design but thanks for the input 👌
Hi Cian ,your doing some job on it. Where are buying the parts for brakes. I have one to do next week and are you using original Zetor or aftermarket parts.

I get my parts from Mangans garage in Mellary, they're importers of Zetor parts but they mostly just sell to main dealers
@@CianKenneally thanks for the quick response. Sure i give them a ring and see.
Nice one Cian
Are ya still putting the bolts straight through the housing or have ya faith in the weld to hold without doing that?
I have faith 😇😂
@@CianKenneally it could be sound but fuck it! I think I’d drill through to be sure, that’s a lot rippin if it breaks!
Was there a wet brake conversion kit you could get for them onetime?
Apparently so but I've never seen one and I don't know anyone that ever fitted one 🤷♂️
@@CianKenneally ya often heard of people who did it
when is the next video?
