Is it appropriate for a school to use this as the main assessment for kindergarten and first grade used by the special education teacher to evaluate a student who has been referred to see if they are eligible for special education? What if OT and speech or others were doing their own assessments, but this is the one being done by the SPED teacher. How does this help to determine academic needs for a child who is not suspected of autism? It seems like this is mostly for toddlers and preschoolers that may have autism but I don’t get why a sped teacher would use this as the main assessment tool for most referrals for kindergarten - 3rd grade.
Can this be administered with copies of forms instead of the digital program? Is this a good tool for kindergarten? Is the instruction guide available online?
Question on specific goal of emitting 10 different mands. There are hundreds of items or different requests that they can make. Do I need to keep, for example, the same 10 different items in order for a child to learn how to mand? Will this be like a repetitive type of teaching?
