And then how you grow? I opened my art account 3 days ago and I have 3 followers. Looks like litterally anyone is watching my posts. I have 1 or 2 strategies to use soon but looks like I will end looking for paid promotions.
I would binge the content on my channel then follow it for 30 days straight. That should start to see some results. Even when hashtags were a thing, they only helped if the content was great so that should be the first focus if you want to grow
@@JoshRyan I don't understand. You mean that I should upload my artworks and wait 30 days? Is what I am doing I guess, I am posting every day, first days I posted 3 times a day. Is the 7th day today. I have already 18 artworks published and looks like not much has changed. I have a few more followers from people that already know me and because I posted on reddit and I have 88 K views and 3-4 K likes there in 3 days (with my instagram watermark and it translated to 5-6 followers on instagram).
Hashtags are not relevant for reach. Are they still relevant anyway? Editing the caption, either the hashtags or the description, what kind of effect might have on the algorithm? Thank you
Hey mate did you watch the whole way through this video? In summary I said they are still worth putting in but don't spend any more than 30 seconds choosing the obvious hashtags relevant to your content, put them in the captions

@JoshRyan I have reached 12 m accounts since. However I will try no hashtags next time. My last reel got to 9 million accounts and had thousands of likes. Took me ages to get to a 1000 followers, now on course for 30 000 growing from 1000 in January
@@JoshRyan to be fair part of my job when I worked in advertising was proof reading and I have OCD so things tend to jump out at me. Gave me a giggle and you the chance to presumably correct it so now everyone else is going I can't see any error and thinks I'm the wally
So 3-5 super relevant hashtags is what we should be using. As that was published in creators IG page as well if I'm understanding it correctly
They did publish that and thats what I believe to be optimal based on our data, however using none won't hurt you
