The Cliffhanger made my JAW DROP!!! Cant wait for the next video!! I always just wear braids like yours Majority of the time if not all of the time. It doesn't help that I sweat in my scalp either so If puffy roots is the way, then braids is the play. I've not done a wash n go or twists in YEARS. I did them back during natural hair movement and learning to style without using heat but within the last 10 years I've only done a wash n go 1 time, saw i need to work on the health of my hair bc the waves did not make me sea sick so and haven't tried it again sense. No twist outs either within the last 10 years, only braid outs and maybe the last 3 years I've stopped taking the braids out completely outside of wash day. I wear a VR headset A LOT so i need my hair to be flat and out the way, so a satin lined beanie with my braids is the only style i wear now. Very boring, but i need my video games lol, yes even at 38 years of age, Its a hobby of mine that's not going anywhere. I only flatiron my hair to cut my ends really well, like 2-3 times a year and only when its cooler temps outside. To cut my ends in between flat ironing before braiding if i notice single splits, ill dust those off. My hair is about 3 inches from the top of my butt now which I'm super happy about, I'm finally at my moms hair length which was a big goal for me since i was a kid. Id like to enjoy my efforts more but i mostly do it while its straight. Which is why i love your videos bc they do motivate me to try new or old products and see if i can increase moisture retention a little better. I'd like to do other styles but by the time i do my braids, my hands hurt fingers start to lock up. i have to massage them and flex them just so i can keep going. @_@ maybe one day ill try to do Twists if i have the time to do it right. (=^_^=)
I literature was waiting to hear why. Can't wait for the next video. I used to do my hair in mini braids alot but after losing hair along the middle part (from my widow's peak to center of head ) in a vehicular accident where i also lost my left arm so I cant do my hair anymore. I got someone to do my hair mostly in rubberbands at the root and braid the ends and I leave it alone till wash day and then repeat. Thankfully the rubberbands hide the area until my hair grows back and catches up with the rest of my hair. I use shea moisture black castor oil line and the manuka honey line and i seal with one of my favorite blue magic grease. I oil my scalp after about a week of getting it done with an oil blend i made. I dont spray my hair with water before braiding.
Girl when I saw you using that gel I knew what was up. I love the moisture it provides but there is something that needs to be changed about the formulation. I won’t spoil the reveal for others. I haven’t tried the other two products so I look forward to those and if you give it a thumbs up I’ll try them out. But you see that gel it’s been sitting in my stash for a few months now because I know I can’t give it way but it’s so full I don’t want to trash it 😮💨😮💨😮💨😮💨
If there is ever a blue magic that works with low porosity hair, please let me know. Because so far zéro help so I just use gel for my braids and twists.
