I keep coming back to here ever so often even in 2022. I truly miss how it was back in the day

It's kind of surreal visiting this place. Not long ago, it was bustling, but now it is a real foot-shuffling place.

I used to come here with my kids on the weekends when they were very little, which wasn't too many years ago. We'd usually enter through the food court to grab lunch. Not the best options, but all the spaces were full, so there was plenty to choose from. Then we'd go to the Disney store to look and play. There was a game/puzzle store right next to it that had tons of fun stuff...and I usually ended up buying something there if I didn't buy something at the disney store. The little kids play area downstairs was always packed with off-the-wall kids and exhausted parents LOL.
I still go occassionally, but usually just to grab something I need; there's just nothing there anymore. Nowhere to browse, nowhere to eat, and it's kinda sad to look at. I'm not sure what can be done to save these smaller malls in 2023 but I really hope they figure something out.

Very strange to see a dentist office in a mall. Thanks for the video

I remember going to this mall every other weekend from Allentown PA. This mall was much busier than the lv mall in Whitehall PA. My kids love the bungee.

Awee the Hallmark store is still in that mall. That's where I bought helium balloons as a young teen.

The tile kinda reminds me of the marble tile in Metrocenter Mall down in Phoenix

It’s so unfortunate the troubles this mall is facing because it’s rather nicely designed. Nice skylights. The issues relate however, to two things. First a lack of shoppers and two far too many empty inline stores that likely can’t be filled. The anchors are probably hanging by a thread. The property has likely will be bought for the land. Not the mall. Certainly the bank won’t pump any money into it with future possible owners neither will they either. Regarding Simon they run from properties that start to fail. They only want class “A”malls. This place is far from that. So I wish I could be more positive but I can’t. It’s days are numbered.

ever since it was taken over by the other company it's fallen into garbage, the last time I visited the only stores worthwhile to visit are Dicks and Wegmans it's so bleak and empty anymore
When I was a kid in the 90s it was always packed now it's a ghost town.................very sad

Mall was sold for $55 million to Kohan Retail Investment on Nov. 20th, so yeah all the fears about this property have come to pass... :(

I wonder how this will go down. This mall is not quite as dead as most other malls they purchase. It's a sad day for sure.

The mall is listed for sale. For sale by owner.

Yup, Jones Lang LaSalle was awarded ownership by the bank after Simon defaulted on their loan. JLL is selling the mall to the highest bidder at this point. Expect Namdar or Kohan at this point...

So many memories when I lived in the area. So sad to see it look so desolate now. And it was thriving not that long ago. I hope it'll bounce back but unfortunately, Simon ruined it and wrecked it and it already looks like a dead mall to be. Hope I'm wrong...

Erasing all of Simon's traces is not yet complete. The font on the "New, Next" is unmistakably one the company uses.
As for the mall, it doesn't look super-healthy but isn't too terrible either.

I think JLL were just going for a quick and dirty removal of any instance of the specific name and/or logo.

It’s so funny the finical debt JC Penney is in yet they still thrive and stay in malls, take aviation mall for an example
