If you were sailing on your own Jake I'd be worried about your sanity with all the antics you get up to but luckily you have Jill there to keep you grounded, oops not a word I should use to people on a boat;-)) Love the fun way your videos are.. Thanks for sharing. Warren s/y Legend
+Jake & Jill Adventures I guess it really doesnt matter all that much...once you get out on the Bahamas Bank, the sailing is awesome.... I usually go south to avoid the big ships that traverse the Bahamas on the north side of Bimini.
I hope you stay safe and never sail the Bahamas at night unless you stay in the deep water-only the Bahamians can do that and without instrumentation. And by now you realize all open bays will be rolly and turn into a survival situation of a lee shore---Wx reports are a big average and as such best bet is other hams info -- short wave freq.-- basra Nassau relays early mornings.

Why did you go north around Bimini...its so much easier to go down to gun cay light and then to the Berry's...
+Fred Brillo we went north based on wind direction and speed, although in the end it didn't really matter because we had no wind.
