Megan Mullally is the best of a generation. Truly will be remembered forever as Karen. Made me laugh tears many times.
I still watch Will and Grace binge streaming over and over.. they make me laugh whole heartedly...out loud and hard. When I need a lift in spirits I turn to them... can't wait for another season ❤

Best casting EVER. And somehow this show remains relevant after 24 years. And I think if Max wasn't part of the inception, it wouldn't have become what it is...what a truth-teller he is!

This show gave me the courage to come out to my mum, at 16, all the way back in 2003.
Seeing the episode where Will finds out Jack never came out to his mum made me realize I'd never wanted to end up like Jack. Still in the closet with my parents at 30 years old.
Told my mum that week. Best thing I ever did! Wished I could have done it at 12, not carying the shame, self doubt and the feeling of the pressure of the whole world on my shoulders for all those years... Coming out and being true to myself? The HARDEST THING TO DO but also the THE BEST FEELING EVER!!!!
Thank you, Will, Grace, Jack and Karen for being there for a insecure sweet little teenage boy, from the Netherlands, in his hour of need. You made me accept my self, showed me it was okay to be gay, there is no way to describe how consequental you guys where for me in my formative years. I love you guys for it!

There wasn't anything Karen said that didn't have me rolling on the floor! The writing for this show was impeccable and I know this because I rewatch the series and the consistency is almost unmatched

Let me tell you I haven’t seen another show that makes me laugh and every single episode and I rewatch this over and over again and I got the same joy I did when I first learned about willi & grace
for a second I hoped this was new and Debra and Megan had resolved their long standing beef, but nope ;( - I'm sure that if it wasn't for all that drama, the reboot would have gotten 2-3 more seasons

@@ooscardls Debra and Megan had an argument or something half way through the filming of season 3 of the reboot, and have completely fallen out… the production and the writing of the series suffered from it and that’s why you barely see them together in scenes from that point onwards. This led to the show getting cancelled. And ever since it ended you never see them together or reference each other. They are both on good terms with Sean and Eric however.

I translated the whole package for a tv station in my country. Two years of sweat, tears and word wrestling to embrace all the jokes. And two best years of my professional life. I became friends with The Four. And the laughs we made during the recording of voice overs went through the soundproof walls and made the whole studio crew squeeze at the other side of the door. I couldn't put my make-up on cause it would get ruined with laughter anyway.

@@olavwilhelm6843 The country is Poland. Most series and movies are not dubbed here, but voice-overed. We recorded 2 episodes a week and in Polish version there are 184 episodes in all the seasons of W&G. Do the math. I recently re-made the series for Canal+. Enough hard data? Who's bull..ing now?
@@olavwilhelm6843 And how much time do you think TRANSLATING such complicated contextual material full of linguistic jokes on top of everything takes? Some two hundred episodes (not counting the reboot) of dialogues delivered at lightning speed, that was probably around 7000 pages. You think you could do it faster? What domikm1767 quoted is exactly what the job would take - two years of sweat, tears and word wrestling.
I rarely envy anyone but I envy you you landed that job!

It was such a DREAM COME TRUE when the reboot was announced. It was amazing! But then, to be cancelled after only 3 new seasons was devastating all over again!
This is the only sitcom i followed religiously back in the day. I was 16 when it first aired and i never stopped watching. My sister and I were obsessed. It's incredible special. I was bawling my eyes out during the 2006 finale. The show meant so much to me and still does. Certain scenes still bring tears to my eyes. I love these characters so much. I have all the seasons on dvd, except the reboot. I miss watching new episodes on TV with my sister. So many fond memories. ❤️🌈
I cried so hard too when the last episode aired, so happy when the reboot came on.

As I listened to their new podcast (Just Jack....and Will) I asked myself why I love this show SO much. And as Sean and Eric rightfully point out on the first episode, I had the answer: the writing on this sitcom was AMAZING. It was nothing short of genius. I never cared that two of the main characters were gay. It was never a show about sexual orientation to me. The lines, the jokes, the catch phrases...everything was deliciously genius. The cast and the crew were the icing on an already finger-licking good cake. I will forever rewatch my DVD collection of this show simply because after all these years the jokes still land, it's my comforting show to this day and no matter what I am going through in life, this show always makes me feel good ♡
Everything you said. The writing was genius comedic timing was spot on. Felt the same way about "Just Shoot Me" and those people went on to do "Modern Family"

W&G was pure magic. Brilliant writing and very, very talented actors. I was lucky enough to see a taping of one of the episodes, which was just amazing. The only negative was that Megan Mullally was snotty and unfriendly but Eric, Debra and Sean were super-friendly and funny with the audience.

Season 4 and 5 are my absolute favorites but that doesn't take away from any of the other seasons. Moving Feast is my #1 episode.
Season 3 as well. Will's phrasing and movement went crazy. He's hilarious. When Grace apartment was almost broken into, the entire first 10 minutes destroyed me Mipanko, Grace's toenails!!

My favorite show of ALL TIME!!!! They totally beat Friends in my opinion. I actually prayed for the return of the show. Although it was still hilarious, they were way too political the second time around which was a bit of a turn off. There was a rather obvious difference in their formula from the original. I was bummed when the show was canceled but at the same time I understood because it wasn't about the characters but more about political agendas.

I saw every episode first-run, as well as in reruns. Never cared for Debra Messing or Eric McCormack, for me the whole reason for the show was to see Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally as Jack and Karen. Wish they had done a spin-off, or even a movie, with those two characters!
Why is Karen sounding like “not Karen” - her high pitched voice is what I love the most about her! Its almost like a cartoon character :P

I love Will and Grace!!!. It reminds me of my gay best friend. I was a straight, shy female wall flower who was in high school in the late 80s. I met my friend, Ruben, through a friend. He was older than me. The first thing he taught me was how to dress and wear makeup, got me a fake ID, and got me to a gay club in Manhattan stat! He made me laugh, and I started to come out of my shell, laugh,and have fun. Also, I had zero clue about sex - no surprise... again, wall-flower and church going. 😂 Well, going to gay clubs was a start in the male anatomy, and I was mesmerized with the music and freedom, and I felt I could be my weird self, and it was OK. He was my best friend and, yes, I pined after him and loved him. The story did not end well, but I will always be grateful for him and how he was a pivotal part of my life. So when I watch Will and Grace, it brings back great memories.❤❤❤ The actors are absolutely amazing, along with the writing. I can't wait for the new season!!!
