Yolanda thanks for using thy God given talent and using it with all thy might, as souls are lift and encourages for the best to know that God loves all.
I love this song so much, but it makes me cry because this was sang back in 2001 at my bestfriend's funeral. He was only 26 years old and I miss him deeply! RIP Wally!
I know it was probably really hard to sing; and especially a song like this. One that really touches deep into the heart and speaks to your spirit. Sorry to hear about your friend and I pray that he was saved and I'm doin the same for my mom that died this year as well. She was really out there doin her thang; but for a week she didn't feel gud and wudnt go to the hospital and then she died. So my prayer is that she had a conversation with the Lord before the end.
I can't remember either!!! But I kno exactly what ur talkin bout cuz I've been lookin for it and when I hear it...I'll kno....she killed that performance!!!
Was this performance from 1999 - 2000? I remember the first time I saw and heard Yolanda Adams was on a BET show, don't remember which show that was, but I remember eating cereal during that performance or at least I thought I was eating cereal because when she was done singing and I snapped out of my trance, I realized that my mouth was wide open, spoon with cereal and milk poised in front of my mouth but I never took a bite that's when I fell in love with her and this song, I was mesmerized
