You listened to Baby Monster and Blackpink now so I think this is a great opportunity for you to see who the first girl group YG ever had, was. There’s only 3 girl groups in YG’s history. They were the first GROUP, male or female, to ever win a Daesang (Grand Prize) the same year they debuted. I AM THE BEST is hands down their best and most popular song from their 2nd studio album. Fire is their debut song and I Dont Care from the same debut album also garnered them many awards. Edit; Also their name is pronounced like the #21 but their music is 2-ANY-1 2nd Edit; also YG left them to do EVERYTHING themselves and hardly helped them at all. They made their own outfits, stages. The company didn’t even supply TRANSPORTATION for them to get to the event that YG SET UP. On top of it all, they disbanded the group without even telling the members. They found out from the news breaking on the radio.. like the rest of the world. Blackjacks (their fandom) are very protective of them and are real die hard fans that only wanted the best for them. CL, the leader and main rapper of the group had it the worst, the company refusing to let her release ANY kind of music for years and years until she finally got out of her contract.
