I was raised in the Church, and always considered myself a Christian. When my new husband was murdered in 1971, I became angry at God, and got involved with a man I never would have ordinarily. After 3 kids and 11 years of being in an abusive marriage, I got a divorce. I struggled to support them but Christ was not a part of our life. Then in 2013 my 6-yr. old granddaughter was raped and murdered. Now I'm basically estranged from 2 of my kids, neither of whom believe in God. I'm no longer angry at God and am trying to find my way back to Him. Please pray for me. And them.
I pray that the Lord will heal your hurts and the broken heart they can cause. I also pray for the Comforter to give you the peace that can only come from the Holy Spirit within you. If you have not received the Holy Spirit, I will also pray as you should, for the Lord to fill you with His Holy Spirit. 😢😢😢😢
OMG I'm so sorry for what you have experienced! Especially that your 6 year old daughter was raped and murdered! Also, your husband being murdered...That is so horrific! I can understand why you felt angry at God afterwards. If that was me I would have too. I do not understand why God allows such horrible things to happen- but you can have assurance that your little girl is in heaven with Jesus and will never experience pain again. I pray that you will continue to pursue God and receive His grace and mercy through faith in Jesus. Remember, God's mercy and grace is freely offered to all who will receive Jesus. So freely you can receive but also freely you must give and share this message of hope with others. May God bring peace in your home & family and may forgiveness & love be released all around you.

Men and women are also made in My image with a soul and a free will. This spiritual part of man is far above Darwin’s explanations, because the body and this earth are passing away, but the soul lives on forever. So trust in My account of creation, and not the imperfect knowledge of man’s theories.”
