    You and your mates are one of the more important parts of my life lately brother! These videos make us all instantly forget that the world is extremely screwed up at the moment and we get to feel like we're out there with you, having fun, catching fish, laughing and LIVING instead of hiding indoors and worrying about the most ridiculous crap I've ever experienced!!!! You've actually inspired me more than you know, I've recently bought cameras, new gear, started planning how, where and when the filming will start! I try to do way too much every day and it's a real problem for me, but your focus and seriousness gives ME focus and a goal to work towards! THANK YOU MY FRIEND!!!!! You're ART is very appreciated and very needed and oh so much fun to be a part of!!!!! Each and every post makes me happy thinking about how random and difficult it is to discover your online creations amongst an unimaginable number of things floating around in the cyber world!! Hope you have a great day, you already made sure I will! Yewwww

    Bro they were some solid flatty's! Good to see James get some action! I'd say get out there for a body board fishing session vid but then again all those great whites around, might not be a good idea haha.

    I've probably seen all your videos but never felt like commenting until now. This, however, is one of your best videos in terms of the lengths you went through with the filming, editing & style. So easy to watch with some great contrasts between foregrounds/backgrounds, underwater/out of water release footage, not to mention the cracking couple of flatties that you each nailed. Keep 'em coming mate 👍

I miss your insane editing and compositions on those vids man. the moment when you quieted the music everytime the camera went underwater... my brain exploded, and that made me want to do a water release soooooo bad

I'm so anxious to see what crazy adventures the two of you will come up with now that you've discovered the fantastic flatty zone AND now that your thoughtful lady has bestowed the YAK upon you as the best B-day gift at the best time! I think that's my favorite part of him and CavDog both, their love for fishing is so off the charts that the tiniest little nibble makes their heart skip a beat and adrenaline shoots through their veins! I know that's how I feel every time, the choice of where to cast, the anticipation of if a fish is wanting to bite, the excitement after the hookset not knowing for sure what the hell is on the end of your line, the panic of trying to successfully land it, even just sitting at home and going through gear, wondering what will work best and trying to figure out where the best spot to go is......I pity anyone who has never cast a line into some water somewhere on this gorgeous water dominated planet hurtling through space and time!
      Fishing is not only more fun than can be imagined, but it's also able to sustain and extend our lives! So a giant thank you to all the fishies that have made the choice to attack the food tied to a rod and reel designed to yank them out of their home! We love each and every one of you!!!!!

      SERIOUSLY!!!! 22 minutes went by in a flash!!! Its hard to believe sometimes! It is definitely the mark of a real artist! This man not only edits the posts but he makes the music for them too! One instrument at a time! The Morning Tide boys are incredibly talented and so much fun to watch! They help with this ridiculous situation we're stuck with, we are able to forget about the crazy world and live vicariously WITH. them, not through them, that's how good they are! I actually feel like I'm right there with them, feeling all the same emotions of catching the fish myself! So CHEERS to Briggsy!! I hope you know just how much you're helping hundreds of thousands of people forget that things suck pretty bad at the moment, and how badly people like you are needed right now!!! CHEERS MATE!!!!!!!!!

    Get some Bactroban Ointment from your Doc for that finger, although you might need antibiotics if it's turning red. Bactroban is a topical antibacterial agent and it's a good thing to have in the first aid kit along with Betadine antiseptic for those long fishing fishing trips away Briggsy, I got spiked by an old fish frame in a crab pot once and by lunch time the next day you could see a red line going all the way up my arm to my armpit, heading for my heart... not something to play around with.

    • @jeffffro7674
      @jeffffro7674 4 роки тому +1

      Wow! That sounds scary as all get out! You're 100% right though, left untreated it might have killed you! With such a serious comment it feels a bit rude to say but, I love the way you describe it....a red line to the armpit and heading straight for the heart! I don't want anyone to think I'm thinking light of the situation but that produces some pretty wild and accurate visuals when said that way. In reality, whatever was there had already been there and done that! It amazes me sometimes how so many people don't fully understand that with each heartbeat that unbelievable organ is pushing blood through EVERY SPEC of your entire body and then BACK the same way! Its thousands of miles of blood vessels, arteries and capillaries....etc! I went to the "Bodies Revealed" exhibit years back, there was a room with a few organs in it that were a mold of ONLY the blood vessels, coolest thing I've ever seen!!! The kidneys are so dense that I couldn't see a flood light through them, it wouldn't surprise me if one kidney consists of 1000 miles of vessels! There and back, with each beat, blood pressure is extremely important! In my opinion the brain is the most valuable part so when I hear folks say your body is a temple it makes me laugh, its nothing more than a tool for the brain to use while we try to unravel all the mysteries of the universe, its basically disposable and pathetic, yet at the same time it's unbelievably complex and impressive!!!! Every day my body continues to give me time to learn more about everything everywhere is a gift! What has happened in just the last century is something hard to imagine, and to think, its getting wilder and more crazy day by day by day, all because of what the human brain does! I Personally believe the brain has no limit as to what it can achieve!
      Sorry for the novel of a reply but I'm truly in awe that I'm able to do this and you are able to read it seconds after I poke the little blue arrow! What a world we've created.......AND destroyed!!!! Thanks for reading, hope I gave you some interesting things to think about, have a virus free day my friend!!!!! Frickin cabin fever is to blame for my ramblings, I apologize for that.......AAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

      @@jeffffro7674 No worries Jeff, I know how you feel mate. This Covid 19 has changed the world forever, unfortunately it is the least of my worries. Do you know anything about the Lymphatic System, mine has apparently stopped working. I've been bounced from one Doctor to another over the last ten years to find out what's going on with me. I don't know how having a work accident where I slipped and smacked my head on a tie-bar can cause your Lymphatic System to stop working but mine has. My guess is I tore it just like a muscle... well I was carrying 40/50 kg at the time which also ruptured a disc in my neck and lower back. What I do know it has affected me in ways I wouldn't wish on anyone. Pity the Government doesn't spend much money on research into it, I don't believe they think they can get a return on their money or should I say our money. Maybe a Endocrinologist can shed some light on the subject, the ones I've seen so far don't seem to have a clue about it or how to fix it.
      Anyway back to fishing and getting into nature it's good for the soul, although maybe not so much for the hip pocket, now the Jacks are back on the bite.

The 1st of now 19! car wrecks happened when I was 8, I just turned 44 a couple of weeks ago and every day of the last 36 years has progressed the damage from no. 1 exponentially!!!! You don't have to wish your suffering on anyone else, but as sadistic as it sounds, one of the only things that brings me ANY comfort is knowing that I'm not totally alone living life wishing it would just end. I wasn't belted in, by the time my face hit the front windshield I was horizontal, my head snapped back cause of that pesky thing called PHYSICS and it ripped the left muscle on the back of my neck completely in half, that sucker is(or was) as big as my wrist! I grew lopsided from that point, the result......my legs are 2.5 inches different, there is virtually no support down my back which gave me arthritis at 12 y.o. which leads to crushed cartilage, bone spurs, torn ligaments, severe nerve damage, and a tear soaked pillow on the mornings when I am able to find enough comfort to fall asleep. I've told people that if they could feel the pain I live with daily, they would probably kill themselves after an hour or two. The body is a curious thing, its basically trash, it has its uses though, it's hard to figure out what those are when the only thing you feel is pain and numbness.
      I do know quite a bit about the lymphatic system actually, I've done so much learning about the way the body works simply hoping I might be able to ignore all the "check engine" warnings sent to my brain for so long. ☹ The worst part I've learned is how easy it is to repair the body, unfortunately money and greed stop any progress in doing it! Doctors tell me nothing can be done to help me, my best friend gives me an hour of massage once a week and guess what? The pain goes away! But I thought there was nothing that could do that! Doctors don't care anymore, the hippocratic oath has been changed now to hypocritic oath, unless your a wealthy person of course! People forced to deal with our afflictions end up seeing things from a dark and lonely point of view cause I feel like things will only get worse, being in this much agony makes thinking if it CAN get worse, death sounds wonderful! If I tell any of this to anyone they want to get away from me asap!
      You've got to be somewhere close to that as well cause the lymphatic system is EVERYWHERE! Head to toe! Your reply is difficult for me to read cause I can't imagine what you're feeling, yet it brings me a bit of cheer cause like I said, it tells me I'm not as alone as I think, then I think, my god!!! I'm cheered up by hearing someone else suffers like I do??!?! I don't know what to say except you MUST focus on anything other than the horrific life you've been dealt! 30+ years of conflicting thoughts like this is as bad as the pain itself, all I can do is fake a smile just so someone, anyone, is willing to be a friend. Lately there aren't many of em left, which is why I cherish the online friendship I've built with a few truly beautiful people like Briggsy, every now and then a brief connection with someone like you I am brave enough to explain how I genuinely feel. Distraction works better than anything! I make furniture, I play lots of instruments, I make jewelry, I write lots of stuff, draw, paint, i try to invent things, i fix things, it's tough to distract yourself from yourself, but it can be done!!!!! Hang in there brother! If only for the sake of others like us. I will distract myself now with learning more about any way to help you lessen what you are dealing with, I hope that brings some sort of comfort and/or hope to you! Thanks for doing that for me today!

      @@jeffffro7674 OMG Bro, I feel your pain Jeff. Can't imagine having to go through a life time of what you've been through... you hang in there mate. Jeff at first I didn't know how to respond as I was a bit blown away by all that, it's hard to tell people what you're going through and it takes a lot of courage to open up and tell your story. I won't pretend to know what you've been through Jeff but I do know how it feels to be in a lot of pain and to be frustrated that there seems to no help. Hope you can find somebody who'll help with the massages as it seems to be one thing that works. I know hospitals won't do them even though it's something they recommended for me as well. Lymphatic Drainage costs over a $100 each time and to be of any benefit you need it at least three times a week and if you're not working you got no chance of coming up with that sort of money.
      Great to see it's not holding you back and interesting to see that working with your hands helps you find some inner peace.
