- Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix, released in Japan as Pocket Fighter (Japanese: ポケットファイター), is a fighting video game released by Capcom in 1997 for the CPS II arcade system. It was ported to the PlayStation, which retained the Pocket Fighter title for its North American and European releases, then the Sega Saturn and WonderSwan (in Japan only), as well as the PlayStation 2 as part of the Street Fighter Alpha-themed compilation title Street Fighter Alpha Anthology.
The game uses the same super deformed character designs previously used in Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, a puzzle game by Capcom.[1] The return of most of the "puzzle fighters" on the roster includes characters from Street Fighter Alpha 2 and Night Warriors: Darkstalkers' Revenge, Ibuki from Street Fighter III, and Tessa from Red Earth. It also features many character cameos from various Capcom games scattered in the background of the stages. - Ігри
0:18 Cute.
I actually liked this game, it's a great starter game for beginning fighter players to learn, actually.
Yeah it’s a fun casual game. I remember renting it way back with some friends and having a blast passing the controllers around.
Ever since I got capcom fighting collection I can’t stop playing this game
It’s seriously underrated!
@@DoctorBadvibes i know right I wish it would get a sequel with more characters in it
Does that online play? I guess I bought the wrong version (got the arcade version for 2 bucks).
Me and my buddy used to love Zanief table flip.super
I could see them revisiting a fighting game in this style if they did a Nintendo vs. Capcom game.
Given how cutesy the style of Pocket Fighter is, as well as how charming it is, it'd be a blast :D
That'd be kinda dope, ngl - if only to see how they'd interprete Nintendo's roster with the SD Zaniness and tongue-in-cheek takes on classic attacks.
There are a lot of new capcom characters and Capcom still didn't make a sequel for this instead they make another street fighter smh
Agree! Capcom is making really poor decisions by investing too much of their resources pandering to the hardcore fighting game community--the
You sound like a hipster. Street Fighter sells, this got lost in the shuffle. It’s not a difficult concept to grasp.
@@Richterdgf yes street fighter sells but the community only lasted for 2 or 3 years and power ranger battle for the grid lasted longer than street fighter. Just sayin'
I get you are upset, but why can't you enjoy what you have instead of complaining about what you dont?
@@Clay_enjoyer it's also a big opportunity for capcom to introduce atleast one representative in one other capcom games, i become a fan of capcom because I find most of the game that I didn't know from MVC1 and MVC2
Ah such nostalgia, i remember when playing with my friend as a kid, we laugh when seeing the characters combo especially Ibuki's. Lol
Nice that you saved the best for last. All hail our lord and savior Dan Hibiki!
Dan is life. Dan is love.
ive only ever played this game once and i think about it all the time. i wish i could play it again!
They re-released it in Capcom Arcade Stadium and also Capcom Fighting Collection recently
Dan also has a 2 bar super that does a ton of damage hcb, hcf+s
Akuma can do shungokusatsu by pressing lp lp > lk s to show what happens behind the screen
Finally. Someone else who knows. For some reason I cannot for the life of me do Dan's hidden super on the new 35th anniversary collection. It's like it's not on there. They also failed to mention a couple of moves (Akuma's alternative teleport with P + S) and Zangief's qcf throw where he chucks you up at the wall.
Nice video!
Thank you! And thanks for watching!
I finally found it! I used to have a 100-in-one console as a child, and there was one fighting game I liked. I saw this on PS store and the Ryu and Ken looked awfully familiar. Chun-li too.
Then there was Felicia.
And I watched this gameplay.
The game had a light purple cat character with super saiyan hair.
Felicia does the exact same stuff that cat did. I always used that cat 😂 I clearly remember it doing that electricity-charge-thingy.
They ofc changed the animations and characters a bit and simplified the game a lot, so it was way worse than the original one.
One game found, one to go. I only had 2 favourites.
Edit: One thing they did not change are the voice effects! Those confirmed it too.
Fun fact: dan’s mighty combo, jun koku satsu is the only mighty combo that has a dumbest flaws as it was prone to be deflected by hsien-ko’s henkyou ki at 8:24.

It’s a lot of fun
Wow 😯😮
They forgot my Hissho Buraiken
Sakura is the cutest!
best game ever
Mini Street Fighter
I remember them called Pocket Fighter
I think it's Pocket Fighter in Japan, and Super Gem Fighter everywhere else.
Man. A lot of people miss Dan's 2 bar super or is it just not in the arcade version? Strange.
It's a console-only super, but I should've grabbed that off the PS1 version. Whoops
@@DoctorBadvibes Ah but it's on the SF Anthology and it's a different version compared to the PS1 version which hits less and puts him at a horrible recovery
Please tell me I wasn't the only one watching Cammy bouncing in the background?
I love all those cameos in the stages
@@DoctorBadvibessame
Man I love this game but did they ever re release it?
Actually not too long ago. It’s in the Capcom Fighting Collection on PC and consoles. Physical and digital
@@DoctorBadvibes cool! In that case I’ll try to find it on the PS5 if not I’ll have to pull out my old ps4 or steam. Thanks!
@@xOzzyyy pretty sure it works on PS5 and PS4 with the PSN version
What does Dan's last move?
QCF, QCF + taunt
I mean what does, cause doesn't makes damage
@@haidamamadisimo5384 literally just a super taunt. He has it in most games
@@DoctorBadvibes So, that mean it's totally useless, right?
@@haidamamadisimo5384 Not really 😅
Unless you hit him 😔
How to do it?
